The recent terrifying spate of 'cannibal attacks' seems to have spread to China, as a drunk bus driver was caught on camera gnawing at a woman's face in a horrific random attack.
The unfortunate woman will apparently require plastic surgery to repair the damage done by her crazed attacker.
According to local news reports, the driver, named Dong, had been drinking heavily during lunch with his friends before the outburst on Tuesday.
He then ran on to the road in the city of Wenzhou, in south-east China, and stood in front of the car being driven by a woman named Du, stopping her from moving.

Dong climbed on the car's hood and started beating the vehicle while the panicked woman screamed for help.
When she left the car and tried to escape, the bus driver leaped on top of her and wrestled her to the ground.
It was then that Dong started biting Du's face, leaving her covered in blood and weeping as passers-by tried to pull the attacker off his victim.
Witnesses said that the bus driver had gone 'crazy' and was successfully resisting attempts to subdue him.
When police arrived, they managed to take Dong into custody, bringing the appalling rampage to an end.
Du was taken to hospital, where doctors said she would need surgery to repair her nose and lips.

What was needed was Batman to arrive on the scene: Kung POW, chicken.
Drunk? So much for the bath salts angle.
The poor lady broke two fundamental rules:
1. When under attack, do not get out of your car.
2. When under attack, keep your car moving.

Ok. Why is this face-eating thing happening? Even if people are on drugs, why would they all express their rage in the same weird way?
Has there been a movie about this recently?
Should I just go with a “demonic possession” theory until the virus or poison is identified?

I’m betting the toxicology reports comes back with much more than a couple beers in his system.
What’s with that woman letting him at her? She was save and sound inside her vehicle. Keep the doors locked and windows rolled up and slam that baby into gear. She could have smushed him like a bug but noooo, she had to get out so he could get at her and now she has to have surgery.
Evil spirits is as good an explanation as any at this point.
Good advice in any case, but then again, getting right with Jesus implies a belief that the world is in God's hands.
So face eating must be countenanced as part of His plan in some inexplicable way!
OTOH, things are not as bad now as they were for the Aztecs or Maya when their worlds were actually ending.
Not yet, anyway.
If its possession, its also a new type of possession. I have read up on several exorcisms and have none of them involved the possessed being cannibalistic. I am having a hard time believing these cases are caused solely by drugs or alcohol. Something else has to be going on.
