ALL conservatives with any sense do so -- we can't survive another 4 years of Obama.
Basically real Conservatives are more critical of their fellows who tell them "go ahead, do what the leftwingtard wants" than they are otherwise.
So, Santorum reveals himself to be a professional politician who signed a document that said he'd support the party nominee(s).
So what?
“ALL conservatives with any sense do so — we can’t survive another 4 years of Obama.”
Those four years include the following:
2 Potential Supreme Court Appointments (Want two more Sotomayors?)
4 more years of deficit spending (Think Obama will ever lay down the veto to any of this, put in mind he tolerates double the deficit of Bush on a bad year)
Which would you prefer more, a president who flip-flops over as little as weeks, or one who flip-flops over a period of years, Romney is mainly the latter.
Fourth, and most important, Obama will take re-election as every bit the motive to turn even further left, and push more of what he does to the left than he already is. Romey would be in a Vice Grip with the left against him from cognitive dissonance, and the right really holding him up to a fire, unless he’s got some conservative surprises, he’s likely to be a right-wing Harry Truman, tries to make it for re-election, but is shot down in the primaries by his own parties, and on the attempt at a second term as well.
That is the only salient point in this election.
Diogenes' juvenile wailing on every post notwithstanding, the best thing for America is that Obama and all of his minions and henchmen be kicked out.
There is simply no other choice.
One thing is for sure. If he ever runs for president again that I will not have to debate in mind for one second that I will not vote for him.
Bleh!Bleh!Bleh!
Lets see what happens at the convention.
True, but the problem is this
both of these men are politicians, who couldn’t tell the truth if their lives depended on it.
If I were to ultimately support Romney, it sure as hell wouldn’t be because if anything that zealot screwball had to say.
We had several conservative candidates during the primary, Saintorum wasn’t one of them.
Santorum was an enthusiastic Romney man in 2008 and Arlen Specter in 2004 and Arlen Specter for President in 1996, and he was an anti-Reagan and pro-abortion republican before running for office himself in 1990.
We knew where his head is at.
So, will Milt Rominy select Rick as his running mate and give God a chance to place Rick at the helm?
I dont believe your guy will win.The elites want Obumer in another 4 years.I cant believe you dont see that.Coming on FR and telling conservatives that a big gubmint republicrat is supporting romney doesnt mean a whole lot to us.I will be voting Constitution Party this election and from now on.I dont vote for liberals from either party.
RINO!
Dang we are running out of heroes!
Sarah Palin
Dick Cheney
Rick Perry

Herman Cain
RUSH
Now -
Rick Santorum
Really?
I realise that this is the mostest importantest election evah and all that, but do you folks really expect us all to just ignore Romney record from the last two decades, on the basis of Romney’s “message” now that he knows he has to mouth platitudes to prevent a full-out conservative revolt?
Seriously?
I am grateful whenever anyone posts sane political analysis here these days because I know that during major elections many new people wind up surfing Free Republic for the first time.
It would be a shame if this year they were all dissuaded from sticking around by the ugly, dishonest antics of the extreme anti-Romney fringe.
And, politicians never lie! Right, Rick?
If you are deluded enough to think you will convince me or others like me to vote for Romney then I guess that explains why you are deluded enough to vote for him.
Santorum endorsed Specter for President. Why wouldn’t he support Romney? He’s a weenie who has always been part of the problem, not a solution.
romney:”No comment”.
Rock Solid Conservative Answer.

Anyone can mimic the message & etch-a-sketch it later. That’s why we need a true conservative.
