Axelrod spinning
(Excerpt) Read more at freebeacon.com ...
Axelrod doesn’t have to say it’s a tax, Roberts and the SCOTUS said it for him.
IMO, we can’t fix this in the fall at the ballot box. It will take other means.
Here’s a good one ..... Obama is thinking he dodged a bullet yesterday, the bullet that he spent his first three years ignoring the failing economy to push through healthcare that ends up not constitutional.
Yup, he dodged that one, but he didn’t avoid this one (which I think is worse):
(From Hot Air:) “when Americans left the workforce by the millions in despair over a lack of job creation in 2009 and 2010, Barack Obama spent his time focused not on job creation but on raising taxes on the middle class.”
so is this an extra tax on top of the 500 billion of taxes built in to Obamacare ?
... with 'you'll have to pass it to find out whats in it' played over & over in the background.
Throw in the graphic of Pelosi marching through a Tea Party rally with her giant gavel.
If only I had a few extra bucks to put something like that together.
Exactly right, MM!!
Now is the time to sign up/go to MSM sites and post this fact....IT'S THE LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN HISTORY!! - on every lib comment.
ObamaTax IS a BFD!!
It was found Constitutional. The details are irrelevant. The President can go ob saying it’s not a tax. Doesn’t matter at all. Romneycare has been preserved.
How about flyers/pdf’s with that Piglosi/gavel pic, with “ObamaTax...the BIGGEST tax increase in history. They had to pass it, for us to find out!”...we can print and hand out/leave behind?
So we shouldn't bother voting for a GOP-dominated congress that can repeal it all?
We should just pout like spoiled little babies and give up because we didn't get exactly what we wanted RIGHT NOW?
The U.S. Supreme Court's decision that President Obama's health care law is constitutional keeps it alive for now. But it's important to remember that the law has already lost in the court of public opinion. The Supreme Court ruling is a temporary reprieve more than anything else.
Also, in my ‘ad’, I should have said: ‘massive NEW tax’. People hates taxes and tax hikes, but they hate new taxes most of all.
If it is a tax, then the Court has placed the entire thing in the purview of House Ways and Means. That is the tax writing committee. That means that HW&M determines how the thing is funded, if it is at all. Further, tax law requires only a simple majority in the senate to pass/overturn.
The question I have still remains: how can any kind of bill pass out of the congress and just randomly be called a Tax?
hates = hate
“Prediction: Obama will continue to insist its not a tax”
Yep. The dims will continue their Big Lie strategy and dare the MSM to call them out. Now we will see the journolisters go into high gear and try to pull that sorry kenyan’s skinny behind over the finish line.
The kenyan won't have any problem fundraising now. All those with their fingers in the Obamacare pie stand to make hundreds of billions. They will now pour the payola into the kenyans campaign and super pacs.
I have to give the dims credit for reviewing why hillarycare failed and ruthlessly pounding obamacare through. They got it through congress and co-opted industry. Pure National Socialism. If only the GOP fought like that.
Axlerod says it’s a penalty.
You know who will be penalized?
Parents of young adults under 27.
I guarantee the penalty will be levied on the parents of the 20 something year old adults so that the young heads full of mush can feel that they got “Free” health care.
Assholerod once more demonstrates why the image of the Democrats is a Jackass.
We may even see the Malignant Narcissist himself come unglued. He's used to running against don't-you-dare-say-his-middle-name McCain. Once the Superpacs start hitting Obama where it hurts, he probably won't even be able to *remember* his middle name.
Need any more proof? We’ve got Barry right where we want him.
But the GOP hasn't had the stomach for a fight since Lee Atwater died. As bad as things have gotten its long past time for them to grow some 'nads.
