One Republican Congressman, whom I believe they said was from Arizona, just said the same thing I said after this Ruling:
"Today, the Supreme Court awakened a sleeping giant. This changes the Election drastically." This has so angered people and will cause many to realize, this is no small matter. This is no game. We MUST Elect Mitt Romney, and a GOP House and Senate on November 6, 2012 so this ObamaCare Mess, our new Tax the Supremes gave us today, can be repealed and totally dismantled.
I believe this "victory" for the Obama Thug Brigade in the White House, will be short-lived. This will fire up people who were somewhat lackadaisical about this Election. We have to get the Marxist out of the White House.

Yesterday Rush was saying Boehner was going around saying "it's not repeal and replace, it's repeal!" This sounds like repeal and replace. Obama wins, we get government health care, his or some other. The goal posts are now moved. Roberts is a coward who is afraid to rock the boat politically and Boehner is a spineless bozo, the Senate is a social club that exists to protect the status quo, and the GOP nominee is the guy who invented the individual mandate. And I should be optimistic about the chances of Obamacare going away because...?
Don't give up, fight back! This is only the beginning. Now Obama has to defend a recession, 8% unemployment for 40 months, AND the largest tax increase in American history. Good luck with that!
What I wouldn't give to have had Gingrich as our Candidate, especially on a day like today. Sadly, it is not to be.
Now we face Reality. We have one Republican and one Democrat running for POTUS. The rest of the people running are distractions, Green Party, Libertarian, whatever.
If you don't Vote for the Republican, you help the Democrat win by default. Do what you think is best, but don't accuse people here who had nothing to do with Romney securing the Republican Nomination of causing this day to come.

Roberts does not fear conservatives. The threat from Politico a few days ago, it was heard, and and Roberts threw in with leftist. This leftist court does not fear Conservatives. They must learn to fear Conservatives. They must tremble...all of them from Bonher, McConnell, the Supremes, the left....all of them. Now, how are we gonna do that? It is not our nature to be adversarial, beyond just bitching about things. Voting does not seem to make an impression. How are we gonna effect change?

I just don’t understand why you think the author of Romneycare is going to lift a finger to repeal nationalized Romneycare. That would be like Steve Jobs rip trying to crash Apple stock. Ain’t going to happen.

That is exactly correct. There is a HUGE difference in a state doing what they think is in the best interest of their state and their people and the federal government telling EVERY state that they MUST do something. From what I understand that is Romneys approach on it. He will allow individual states to do whatever they think is necessary but will not mandate it on a federal level. I’m okay with that.

Your word went out the window right there as that is provably false if you care to go back and read all threads.
I have no use for Romney. But what I see in some of these threads is that many people are actually GIDDY about voting for him. It not like they are even going to hold their nose.
I think Romney is being smart right now...he is waiting for Obama, Pelosi and Reid to make their public statements and then he is going to respond.
Romney may not be the ideal candidate, but he certainly has been adept at handling this stuff (well, better then McLaim anyway).
