If you consider Roberts’ argument, you could say that he slapped Obama in the face in this respect: Obama insisted the mandate was not a tax.
The court says he lied.
Color me shocked and pleasantly surprised.
Can’t wait to see Romney argue against ACA now, since it was based on the Mass law. His only fig leaf was the constitutionality. Now that that’s been striped away, he’ll look like John Kerry; he was for it before he was against it!
Like father like son: The first Bush gave us Souter; the second Bush gave us Roberts. The gifts that keep on giving The nextr failure of conservatism will occur when all these so-called Republicans will abandon their pledge to repeal Obamacare. It won’t happen EVER even if the GOP takes control of the House, Senate, and POTUS.
