Commit yourself and your family NOW to work tirelessly to make November a landslide, a purge, a cleansing of the Capitol and White House, a mighty pushback and a forceful slamming on of the brakes and turning of the wheel. Let's do it, y'all! Amen to that! And when you tire, think of The Founders. .

I don’t understand why suddenly the SC is interested in molding the HC law so that it can pass the specifications of the court. Why isn’t it either constitutional or unconstitutional as written? It is not the job of the court to rewrite law.

I have heard legal scholars explain that in order to get a majority opinion you have to bring on four other justices. So with that reasoning one could say four liberal justices agreed that the mandate argued in the commerce clause, that the government could not create commerce and make you buy their product that would make it unconstitutional.
A tax is constitutional my problem now is that taxes are levied on income. What if a company is not making a profit, then to do business your are taxed before you open your doors for business? Will that lead to seizing assets? In Greece their health care system is on the verge of collapse, it you do not pay your taxes you lose your insurance and you are put into free clinics. HHS just sent a boat load of money into free clinics.

To put it simply, I think the SCOTUS weighs heavily on justices who serve there. Some justices try so hard to ‘do the right thing’ that they miss the forest for the trees.
Roberts didn’t want to over-rule Congress. What he missed was that even Congress has no power to do something unconstitutional.
It’s my opinion, and I’m entitled to one, that Justice Roberts screwed up terribly here.
Congress and the President stated emphatically they were not intending to start a new tax. So what does Roberts do? Why he upholds the new tax. What tax Chief Justice?

Question. Didn’t SCOTUS declare part of the law unconstitutional medicaid? If they didn’t address the severability issue, then by declaring part of it void, didn’t they void the whole thing? What am I missing here?

Soros told Roberts that if he didn’t rape America on TV, Soros would shoot America in the head with another economic run on the bank.
Roberts is acting under duress.
And Soros/Obama are more disgusting than hog filth.

Further...
Congress does have the power to tax our income.
Congress does not have the power to tax our very existence.
“If you exist, you will purchase health insurance or we will tax you for not doing so?”
Where did Roberts get this decision, a Joe Boluka bubble-gum wrapper?

It’s not a tax. It’s a FINE. It is punitive.

Really? What about those "tinfoilers" who have been crying out that there's a major push for One World Governance, or that the true purpose of the Government is power: the power to control everyone's lives?
Sure all their 'evidence' is anecdotal (like the litter in your analogy) but damn if their premises don't fit the governmnet's actions the past few years. From Patriot Act, to NDAA, to TARP, to SB1070, to ObamaCare the government rules us and our lives with an iron fist.

It is not the job of the court to rewrite law.I was wondering the same thing. Rule on it as it was written, not as it should be.

Sounds like Roberts was fishing for an excuse to be able to say the Constitution allows Obamacare. He grasped at the Obama lawyer’s #3 argument as possibly having merit, and used it to justify upholding Obamacare.
But he didn’t like it and if his eyes were red it was probably because he hated what he was doing and didn’t believe a word of it.
IOW, Roberts was told that he would make this decision or the country’s economy would be destroyed immediately - and as a crap sandwich Soros/Obama also told him he had to be the one to read the verdict. Piss be on Obama though - because Roberts couldn’t rape his country with a smile, and their sadistic attempt to make him do so has revealed the whole thing (along with other signals Roberts and others have given in the past).
And now the whole world should know exactly what is going on here. Our country is literally taken hostage.

IIRC, Rush said he knew something about Roberts that made him uneasy about the Chief Judas in regards to the then upcoming decision.....but that's all that Rush would say.
