Who knew showing up to vote on bills could be so draining? Hmmm. Usually when Hollywood stars take time off so they can be "treated for exhaustion", it means they had a few too many drug and binge-drinking parties.

I think Kirk's still on his leave of absence from Congress too, following his stroke (at least he has a valid excuse). Now if we can just get Rush, Guiterrez, Quigley, Davis, Schakowsky, Dold, Costello, Biggert, and Durbin to join them in taking a leave for "recovery" (lobotomizing them would be a good start), we'd have a fairly decent Congressional delegation in Illinois.

Usually it’s a codeword for drugs and/or alcohol.

Whatever his problem is he’s not just “exhausted”, that’s BS. Maybe he’s afraid the law is finally catching up to him.
