I am very nervous about this decision and I hope it is today rsther than Thursday. I tend to think that the mandate will be struck down, but if the rest of the law remains, DESPITE the lack of a severability clause, the massive bureaucracy, regulations, massive taxes, subsidized birth control, and death panels will stay. Given we have a lawless administration, they will find some way to fund it.....

The person on Scotus Blog just posted " by inference we learn CJ Roberts is writing health care."

Does that mean anything? If Roberts is writing the majority decision it would seem to be good sign? Am I even reading what they are saying correctly?

The MT campaign finance case, 11-1179, is summarily reversed

Arizona: Improper for the lower courts to enjoin Section 2(B),
which requires police officers to check the legal status
of anyone arrested for any crime before they can be released.

AZ Law, portion upheld: If person is detained for other reasons (criminal, etc.), the police CAN check immigration status.

The remainder that were not upheld go back to the 9th Circuit.

Campaign finance appeal rejected. SC won't consider corporations free speech.

Now that 2b has been upheld, it is my hope that Arizona will publish, on a weekly basis, the number of illegals detained and ordered released by the Obama ICE. The numbers will devastate Obama with non-Latino voters.
