Oops. Revolting.
What the heck are you talking about?
“trying to compromise with the lefties”
Horses heads in beds and manila envelopes with pix of family and children notwithstanding?
Pelosi-Reid-0bama-style?
Agreed. LifeSite used to be good. I won’t be reading anymore of their articles as long as this twit is still there.
I have better things to do with my time.
**Ginsberg has no business talking about an issue before the court.**
Agree completely, in fact, should she be reprimanded for speaking about SCOTUS business by the Chief Justice?
Um, it’s Thursday, and this article talks about what happened on Friday.
That’s some special stuff they’re smoking, I guess.
oh, right. that should be kennedy. the swing justice.
thanks for the pickup.
If the court finds Obamacare Constitutional with a 5-4 vote with Kagan as the “it’s legal” tie-breaker, all heck will break loose and should.
We all know the decision, in fact, Boehner confirmed it.
What do you mean?
Precisely how was the decision postponed when it had never been scheduled for a specific date?
I’ve been out since morning and just now checking on FR, and only have a few minutes - give me a hint at least! or link or something.
Maybe you mean this? Why shouldn’t they celebate? They should fire rifles into the air in jubilation...just kidding sort of.

(The Hill) — Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) warned Republican House members not to to celebrate if the Supreme Court rules against the healthcare law.
“There will be no spiking of the ball,” he wrote in a memo to the conference. “Republicans are focused on the economy We will not celebrate at a time when millions of our fellow Americans remain out of work.”
The memo came after a tense morning when the Supreme Court could have issued its ruling, but did not.
The next possible day for a decision is Monday, June 25. Justices could also issue a ruling later next week.

“Push Back” is a media invention. The announcement day is traditionally Monday, with Thursday as an alternate day. The Opinion release date was never scheduled, so its release couldn’t have been “pushed back”. They’ll release it when they feel like releasing it. The vote was taken months ago, only thing going now is the drafting.
Ok. So if we already didnt know the decision, we can be pretty sure about it now. Ruthie is a definite supporter of Obamacare. If the decision had gone her way, shed describe it as a unified court handing down a wise, carefully deliberated decision. Instead, we get a sharply divided court that is postponing the release of this ruling.
***That is a very succinct and precise analysis. If I had money, I’d be putting it down at Intrade on the pertinent contract right now, convinced by your reasoning.
I know Life Site news is generally reliable, but is there any reason to buy this story?
SCOTUS will be kicking it in the Maldives by the time the decision is announced.
That’s what I’m thinking, they almost certainly overturned it, and want to get out of Dodge before sunset.
Don’t want to be sticking around when the locals get restless...
You're pretty optimistic; I can see it being the other way; stalling because they have to release an unpopular decision. Either way it's going to be 'controversial'.
(And I don't doubt that there haven't been behind the scenes plays going on; I'd not be surprised if there were "offers they couldn't refuse" passed out.)
Despite some of the recent rulings, we should remember that the Supreme Court is a Statist organization. (Kelo, allowing property to be 'arrested', letting the TSA stand, allowing no-knock raids, etc.) Obamacare is appealing in that it is basically handing control of any person's health to the state, which means that the inconvenient can simply be repeatedly moved to the back of all their waiting lists due to "unfortunate scheduling conflicts" or "miscommunication".
Good, if disconcerting, observation.
