A New York bus monitor who was berated and bullied by a group of middle school students has received more than $200,000 in online donations.

Karen Klein, 68, is seen in a 10-minute viral video attempting to ignore the verbal attacks by students on a bus operated by the Greece Central School District, near Rochester, N.Y. Children on the bus hurl repeated insults and threats at the grandmother, calling her fat and at one point suggesting that her children commit suicide.

But donations have since poured in for the grandmother in hopes that she’ll take a “vacation of a lifetime,” according to fundraising site indiegogo.com. As of midday Thursday, a total of $201,925 had been received for Klein and the video had been viewed on YouTube more than 1.6 million times.

“unless there are drastic changes in their character, they will never become men”

There will always be openings for Human Resources Managers. The ones I’ve worked for have been, without exception, sadistic bullies; these kids have bright futures.

Do they still perform lobotomies? These kids would be good candidates.

I dunno. I think first you have to have a brain to begin with. I don’t think these kids qualify.

I was surprised to learn that these were four junior high boys. Sounded like girls on the video.

My guess would be that one of the boys ... a leader type that the others look up to and fear ... is a psychotic bully and that the others went along with him.

Were there any kids on the bus who tried to defend the old gal?

Maybe they didn’t want to become targets themselves.

It’s interesting how much this touched people to the extent of actually sending money to the woman.

Most of the article was concerned about lack of empathy among children, violence and even murder. I don’t recall anything about sexuality but it was a few weeks ago now and my memory is not too good. It didn’t seem to be dominated by political correctness but maybe it was!

——Just remimber, one day shits like these will be running the Country.-——

That’s what I was thinking in seventh grade, way back in 1974.

As far as I can tell, nothing has ever changed.

I’m puzzled by this sudden “discovery” of bullying. The homos used it as a pretext for introducing sodomy to the govt school curricula.

But it wasn’t supposed to grow beyond that. The teacher unions, supers, school boards and teachers don’t want the truth to be known.

So how did this happen?

My theory is that this is a media error. The first bullying reports regarded Facebook. But these reports overlapped with school bullying. The media failed to make the distinction, and “bullying” has taken on a life of its own.

The unions should be able to quell the uprising in another week or two. They were caught flat-footed.

My guess is that she could stick by the $11,000 gift rule from each person and get away with it...Hell, I’d hire Tax Chick to defend my claim and give her half....still come out ahead by golly...

If you mean did I go to public school I did.

But it was so long ago that I remember that no one, and I mean no one, would dare to insult any teacher or older person.

I remember loving an old janitor and lunchroom ladies ... wouldn’t dreamed of insulting them.

I never studied such a situation, but since this kind of donation setup has become fairly common, I’m sure there are specialists who can set it up tax-exempt, at least for Federal tax.

All true... except these weren’t “feral inner city children”. These were suburban white kids.
