When BATF agents first blew the whistle on what is now known as Operation Fast and Furious, the rationale offered by DoJ for such an evidently foolish operation was that it was designed to allow BATF to track and prosecute the leaders of the Mexican drug cartels. As more information surfaced from the Mexican government and the BATF's Mexican bureau chief specifying that none of them knew anything of this operation, many of us who were paying a bit closer attention to the case immediately smelled the first foul scent of corruption.
The fatal flaw in DoJ's explanation was this: if the Mexican authorities had not been brought into the operation, nor even the BATF's own agents authorized to operate in Mexico, then the proffered DoJ justification made utterly no sense, for the simple reason that once those walked guns hit the south side of that border, there was absolutely no process in place to track them to their supposed targets. Therefore, DoJ was patently misrepresenting its motive. Why?
For those who keep a constant wary eye on the left's never-ending war on our 2nd-Amendment right to keep and bear arms, the increasingly fishy smell emanating from Washington led to connecting the dots back to the year-earlier revelations in the liberal media that weapons being used in Mexican crimes were traceable back to American sources more than 90% of the time. That false meme had spread quickly through the major liberal media, along with calls for stricter gun control laws in this country by...guess who! How about our president, our secretary of state, our attorney general, and other notable Democrats, for starters?

Who dies (as in, Brian Terry) and how many (300 Mexicans) are the centerpiece of the equation of this communist dirty work, handed off to Holder who is left trapped and holding the bag.
Names and numbers of dead serve beautifully to advance the agenda, particularly one of our own, as in the soul of Brian Terry, with ATF metal in the dirt he died in. His name really moved the narrative against US gun rights.
Tramping around in another country with no permission, in which there is no one to track nuttin’. Just to get the blood shed and the number of dead, to which the story was attached to move the dial.
This will be impeachable but won’t be touched beyond the purposes of the Republicans who are using all this too, for a favorable election outcome for there man Romney. A true circular firing squad over the dead, huh?

One point not made is that we and the Mexicans know who the bad guys are and to think that entangling them in a relatively low level straw purchase crime would bring them down is beyond fantasy.
They were deliberately undermining the Constitution of the United States with Fast and Furious. They both took an oath to protect and defend our constitution. There is a word for this type of betrayal. That word is TREASON.
Holder must be prosecuted and if the evidence also shows Obama was involved (which he almost certainly was) he must be impeached.
The path in to tyranny and a totalitarian government that’s what Eric Holder and his handlers were hoping for and this is the reason he is holding out on any further information as it might implicate some one higher up, the first two guesses who it might be don’t count. Had it not been for the Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley who luckily blew the whistle on this crap who knows how far socialists (liberals) had gone with this attempt to undermine the second amendment.
The true reason for wanting an unarmed public is because such a citizenry is powerless in the face of armed government and therefore compliant. Liberals, Democrats, Communists or Socialists by what ever flavor they like to be known, know full well that the key to unrestrained governing is to first disarm the citizenry.
Obama had made promises on video to Mrs. Brady that he was working on new ways to get things done for her. I remember seeing it. It was at some event they were both together and audio was caught of them having a short exchange where he said that. He and her were talking either after a speaker or on the side while someone else was speaking.
Obama is on video with his promise to Sarah Brady stating they were working “under the radar” on gun control. Gunwalker was that under the rdar operation. If it worked he’d have had a pretext self created criaia to justify gutting the 2ns Amendment and keeping his promise to Sarah Brady.
Just go to YouTube and search “Obama under the radar gun control”.
Now ask yourself “ What kind of political ideology supports such usurpation and treason?” Fast and Furious was designed to bring about a result of restricting or nullifying 2nd amendment rights of the People.And it was designed to do so in Red States.
This is War.
And it is being conducted against the People by a liberal fascist movement led by so called president Barak Hussein Obama.
We need to be rid of him and all who are in office, who support him.

One does not need to go too far back into world history to see this kind of “false flag” operation working successfully to achieve the nefarious goals of its perpetrators.

Apparently the meeting was not on video, but recalled a meeting of Obama and Sarah in the White house where they talked gun control and said they were working it on it, with processes under the radar. He also mentioned they were interested in records and record keeping of firearms sellers.
As long as the MSM slime has control of the news cycle, the punk POTUS walks. It doesn’t matter what Barry Sotero does, he is in their pocket.
I’ll bet Barry and Eric have already hired Jose the Birth Certificate Guy to reconstruct “the documents” to make them look like the good guys in all of this. I just don’t trust this government anymore.
This was just phase one of a grander plan that went beyond the US; it was to be part of the UN agenda. This is one huge setback for the globalists.
Exactly. That's why the author of this column slightly misses the point in his five-item summary when he lists as number four:
Use steps one through three to substantiate the liberal fallacy that private gun ownership leads to increased gun violence by gun owners.
It should actually read:
Use steps one through three to gain public support and international support for gun control by the UN, circumventing our own Constitution.
If the White House could get the Mexican Government to insist on international regulation of guns because "90% of the cartel's guns come from the U.S.," then they could probably increase public guilt in the U.S. about being the supplier of those guns, and in the interest of being a good neighbor, more people might be willing to subvert our individual liberties to an international agreement. I believe that was the thinking on the Left.
The author is absolutely right, however, that the Left knows they will have a hard time forcing the people of this country to go along with their push for total power as long as the citizens have guns.

Deputy Attorney General David Ogden announced the Obama Administration’s new and aggressive ‘comprehensive plan’ on March, 24, 2009. The plan was aimed at disrupting gun trafficking between the United States and Mexico.
