It's looking exactly like Watergate. Nixon cited executive priviledge as well. The difference is that no one was murdered in Watergate.

This just shows how damaging the information in the documents is to this administration.

Judge Napolitano says that this is not an appropriate venue for "Executive Privilege" as it is intended solely to cover communications directly to and from the President and only on subjects of national security and defense. Interesting point. Issa should counter with: "By asserting Executive Privilege, Holder and Obama thereby admit that Obama had engaged in communication about Fast and Furious. Now we just need to uncover 'What did he know, and When did he know it?' "

-—That was their plan from day one...string it out as long as possible then go for executive privilege. Wonder how many top stories this will generate in the MSL......crickets.——
Couldn’t agree more.
Hard to imagine the Republicans getting into a street fight about this. I’m picturing a tersely written letter.

No it sounds Nixonian and this was the watermark which was the beginning of the end of Nixon. I say the House has a contempt vote and put Obuggery on it as well. That was it for Nixon. This guy has several other shoes waiting to drop though, and it could go much quicker.

Is it not mind-boggling, the sorry, pathetic quality of these elected and appointed officials? Buckley was so right, about picking names out of the phone book. We'd be so much better off.
We can safely say that they are attempting to cover up the murders of hundreds of innocent people in order to undermine our civil rights, and most of the MSM is complicit.
They think of themselves as elite, but they are nothing but lowlife, loser sociopaths.
