It was a nice if not busy weekend...just seemed to go by too quickly if ya know what I mean. :)
Slept in a bit on Sat & it felt real good.
I bet 70 does feel hot for you but it sounds like heaven to me! We are opposite ends of the spectrum when in comes to temps. It was supposed to hit 112 here today.
Do you have air conditioning there? *Hugs*
Guess I missed you again tonight, but thanks for a GREAT
road trip! I’ll bet those guys at Peterson are helping with
the big fires that CO is experiencing right now.
Oh my goodness such an exciting time for you all! Prayers up for your daughter & your 1st granddaughter!
Aloha, Hawaii...((HUGS))...any good news today.
Toasty warm here today. Maybe thunder and rain later.
I would KILL for a 70 degree day! :)
Still no word from GrMA-SR.
Once the New Mom and New Baby are DOC says ready to come home, Dau-ILaw and Nate will be coming down from PHX to help out and teach the New Mom.
Prolly should be on the lookout for chiggers, too. :)
Have a nice walk with Lucy! (((hugs)))
After a national news magazine posted an online story listing my community as one of the top-10 dying cities in the nation, local citizens were outraged. They registered their indignation, pointing out evidence to the contrary. One resident went to great lengths to disprove the harsh judgment. He recruited local citizens to show up downtown and appear in a video that showcased the vibrancy of our community. The video received international attention, and the news magazine admitted it was wrong. But the organization that had done the research stood by the conclusion, even though it was based on limited criteria.
Their self-defense surprised me because their careless conclusion seemed indefensible. But then I thought of how common it is to make faulty judgments based on minimal information. One of the classic biblical examples is that of Jobs friends. They wrongly concluded that because a series of tragedies happened to him, Job had sinned.
In the end, God defended Job and offered a startling conclusion. He didnt rebuke his friends for judging Job but for speaking falsely about Himself (Job 42:7). This is a humbling reminder that when we make careless judgments about others, we are sinning against God.
Read: Job 42:1-8
I’m not trading my 70 hot for your 3 digit HOT!!
No air conditions....I plugged in one of my fans.
I’m off for home, homework in hand.
I hear ya Luvie! LoL
“Many” Sigh.....
I don’t even NEED air conditioning for 70 degrees...just open
the doors and windows and let the breezes flow!
Homework? Again? You need a vacation, Kathy! :)
