A jury found baseball star Roger Clemens not guilty on six charges that he lied to Congress in 2008 about his use of performance enhancing drugs. Clemens was charged with lying to Congress about his use of performance enhancing drugs.

Now we need maximum publicity on the amount of money the Department of Justice spent on this worthless fishing expedition.
Congress finished wasting its time and our money on this topic a couple of years ago. This waste of time and your money was brought to you by the Attorney General Eric Holder and President Barack Hussein Obamination and the incompetent U.S. Attorney for the Federal District who caused a mistrial and then decided to retry the case using as his main witness and admitted liar and drug addict who had been unable to hold a steady job as a sports traing because...you guess it...he is an unsavory individual who is a liar and a drug addict.
Can’t stand him.....arrogant jerk, but this was a very good verdict. Never did I want to see him in jail or punished for this nonsense......punished for being a jerk by the public.....ok.
“Congress lies to us everyday. Why should we care if someone lies to them?”

This is precisely why Clemens walked. Most people believe he is a lying, cheating blowhard. But they also know that Congress is the biggest collection of hypocrites since the Scribes and the Pharisees. One of their own lies or cheats and, at best, you get a weak “censure” years later. But if someone outside the Capitol Hill dares to play their game, then Congress is “outraged” and looking for blood. When the likes of Barney Frank and Maxine Waters are running around free, it’s hard to justify jailing an athlete.
Yea Roger! Now if Lance should be so lucky.
I picture all these wimps that never could play ball or ride a bike, trying to get even.
Headline: 2057
Lance Armstrong was dragged out of his nursing home yesterday evening by prosecutors intent on trying him for the 27th time, for doping in the 90s.
The last person Lance raced against died in 2051.
Clemens is as dirty as they come, but who cares? He’s nothing more than a juiced up professional wrestler.
Oh, I’m sorry, he’s a sacred American prince... he’s a ballplayer!
To the Congress there is no such thing as "private affairs"; it believes everything is its business.
The first part is generally right, but the second is wrong to the extent it suggests that MLB is any more under Congressional control than are other professional sports.
I gave my 1985 Topps card set away years ago. Not sure what the set is worth today but I really don’t care anymore. I think I paid around 30 for it a year or two after it came out. At the time the Clemens rookie was one of the key cards in the set along with the Strawberry card. I also gave away at the same time my 1989 Upper Deck set with the Ken Griffey jr rookie card. Baseball is almost dead to me these days.
Congress has more constitutional things than worrying about baseball stats.
The federal prosecutors need to be prosecuted for malfeasance and theft of taxpayer dollars.
Now that Roger Clemens has been found NOT GUILTY on ALL counts, I have to ask...How much has this Government fiasco cost us as US taxpayers?
Don't worry - the FBI is investigating Jon Corzine, and how it can speed up the deliveries of his take-out orders.
And they're looking into a better wax regime for his personal automobiles.
So? Just prosecute a few more peasants for "tax evasion".
But not Charlie Rangel. He's Merkun Royalty, and so not subject to laws that the subjects are subject to.
Agree 100%, FRiend!
They do have other issues to deal with that are more important, but going after Baseball and Football guarantees headlines for our celebriticians. Never get caught in b/w a television camera and Charles Schumer.
ABSOLUTELY!
I cannot understand why anyone would willingly testify before this contemptible bunch.
Thank you and good to see around old friend.
“In the case of the first three, being a jerk is not illegal. In the case of Zimmerman, theres just not enough evidence to build a case.”
That’s why the prosecution and their FR Hussein Head plants ramped it up to “skimming” yesterday.
