72% to 27% no.
Ping! Please ping your lists!
The girl they interviewed today was graduating from UCLA. She never worked a day in her life because she never had working papers.
72.7% against, 27.3% pro.
Bump!
Special ping. Vote in poll.
I voted at the WSJ poll. Still 72% range against.
Stupid question. Should be: Do you agree with Obama’s dictatorial decision to ignore the division of powers in the Constitution and rule by royal edict?
Of course I agree. With our labor shortage another 800,000 people added to the potential employees, what could possibly go wrong?
I agree with “B.O.” but for a slightly different reason (or reasons).
I think we should allow illegals in to the country so that when time gets “really” tough, we have someone to point the finger at and blame.
Secondly, we can use them as punching bags to vent our frustrations.
Finally, in the event of food shortages we can cannibalize them and use them as a source of protein.
(Seriously though) - we need them to vent against when times get though and believe me that will be pretty damn soon.
Bump
I think you have it right. It’s not like any of these “young” Hispanics, 30 years old on down are being deported, or that they aren’t working, or that they aren’t enjoying free, cheaper educations than citizens. Besides the rhetoric, and blatant disregard for rule of law and limited government, what has Obama changed?
1:07pm EST: 75.4% to 25.4% - NO!
72% no
27% no hablo inglés
They always leave out the HELL NO! choice.
With the exception of my 6th great grandfather, John Carpenter (a neighbor, close associate, friend and revolutionary brother in arms of one George Washington) in my paternal grandmother Robinsons family, my other English and German ancestors waited in sometimes years long lines, got on a hot, crowded, rickety ship, crossed the Atlantic and arrived at Ellis Island.
My wife’s English and Irish ancestors also waited in sometimes years long lines, got on a hot, crowded, rickety ship, crossed the Atlantic and arrived at Ellis Island.
There they were deloused, given a cursory medical exam, interrogated, their immigration papers checked and, with just what they were able to carry, took the ferry to the mainland to begin their lives as “Americans.” Those who did not have a complete grasp of English soon undertook formal and informal of the native language and the rest, as they say, is history.
That’s how it USED TO BE DONE.
The 14th Amendment, INTENDED by the drafters to ONLY grant citizenship to emancipated slaves by overturning the Dred Scott decision, has been tortured beyond recognition by the radical left to also include so-called “anchor babies” born to Latinas who stroll across the border to download junior HERE to bypass all the normal immigration processes described above. As an intern in a San Diego ER, my late niece caught many of those babies as part of her OB/GYN training.
By executive fiat, today Obama just took the first step to COMPLETELY open our borders (trust me, it is the first step only!) His action makes FOOLS of those who, like our great-great grandparents, played by the rules. It also makes fools of those waiting in those overseas lines to come here THE RIGHT WAY!!!
A wag declared that a nation without borders is NOT A NATION!!
A Latino “immigration lawyer” on FNN this morning said that if Congress doesn’t like it, they can change the law. He went on to say “THEY DON’T HAVE THE GUTS.” Sadly, he’s right. But if these clowns on Jenkins’ Hill think those latinos (legal and illegal) are going to vote for the GOP, they should be careful to not let their minds wander: They’re too small to be out alone.
Not that it would do any good, I called my congresscritters’ (202-224-3121) this morning to ask when they plan to offer Articles of Impeachment for this, the Law of the Seas Treaty, the activities of Holder, et al, the waste of taxpayer bucks on the green jobs idiocy, etc., etc. I’ll spare you the entire list as it runs to a few hundred pages. If impeachment is not their plan, I asked them to have the decency to RESIGN as the first branch of this government is clearly no longer needed and Obama could use the bucks saved to help buy the coming “election” or perhaps resume his taxpayer funded World Tour.
Bottom line? If you are STILL unconvinced that this guy is a clear and present danger to YOUR way of life, you probably live in a refrigerator crate behind a vacant warehouse. And if that is NOT your current living condition, re-elect this guy and it shortly will be.
those who vote “yes” are embracing illegality?? - and what are the consequences??
