RUSH: So Romney went out and made a speech right before Obama's. Obama's giving his reset, "I'm the guy that you want for the next four years" speech. Romney went out there literally minutes before Obama, and we got a couple sound bites. He was loaded for bear. He was energetic. He was enthusiastic. Our buddy Jim Pethokoukis tweeted: "I don't think this is the Romney they want to run against at Obama campaign headquarters." Meaning, this is not who they thought Romney was gonna be. I don't think McCain would've done this. (McCain impression) "That's right, that's right, Limbaugh, I would have shown proper respect. The President of the United States is making a speech and it's his speech and I would schedule my speech for much later, or much earlier." Exactly right. But Romney's taking it to 'em. So we're rolling on Obama. Whatever's noteworthy, we'll have it. But let's listen to a couple of Romneys. He's in Cincinnati while Obama is in Cleveland.
ROMNEY: He's been president for three-and-a-half years. And talk is cheap. Action speaks very loud. And if you want to see the results of his economic policies, look around Ohio, look around the country, and you'll see that a lot of people are hurting. A lot of people have had some real tough times. And the policies the president put in place did not make America create more jobs. As a matter of fact, he made it harder for America to create more jobs.
RUSH: And then he predicted that Obama's gonna offer a bunch of excuses, a la, Barack Kardashian Oblame-o.
ROMNEY: He will have all sorts of excuses, all sorts of ideas he'll describe about how he'll make things better, but what he says and what he does are not always the exact same thing. And so if people want to know how his economic policies have worked and how they performed, why, they can talk to their neighbor and ask whether things are better. They can talk to the 50% of college kids graduating from college this year that can't find a job. They could talk to the people who represent the unemployed. The president said that if we let him borrow $787 billion for a stimulus, he'd keep unemployment below 8% nationally. We've now gone 40 straight months with unemployment above 8%. But then he'll say, well, but the things he's been doing have been good and helped create growth and put people back to work. Oh, really? Go check on that.
RUSH: That's Mitt Romney just before Obama.

Nope. R. Paul is a moron..
I’ve made my Romney endorsement and I will do what needs to be done to get obama or any democrat out of office but there is some shame attached to voting for another Rino, it’s not something I enjoy talking about. I’d rather be looking forward to a November appointment to clean out a stopped up septic tank.
Romney is far, FAR from my first choice, and I'm sure I've said a few times I wasn't going to vote for him. Heat of the moment, anger and all that. But Obama is no choice at all! Don't let the "I'm not going to vote for Romney" crowd fool you ... what they're really saying is they'd rather have Obama than Romney, and those will be the folks we point our fingers at after the election (should Obama win) and blame them for 4 more years of MISERY.
BTW, Romney's going on the attack, his change in rhetoric, his much improved speaking skills are no accident: he took on Michelle Bachman's speech writer, debate coach, and some of her campaign research opposition folks after Bachman dropped out. Those are some bright, bright folks. I give them big KUDOS for the job they're doing with Romney.
I agree.
I hope so.
I can’t imagine any American not doing everything they can to get rid of this evil Marxist, avowed enemy of the United States.
I am going to vote for the RINO. We just can't afford 4 more years of the A**hole.
Thanks for the link. Did you notice that Mitt Romney focuses on all the people in the crowd not just those on the left and the right when he addresses them like the Oblame-o does?
lol, good one :)
Yeah and what chance does a third party candidate have to get elected? Get real
Yeah and what chance does a third party candidate have to get elected? Get real
I admit I iiked the whole driving around 0bama’s event, honking the horn.
Made a point.
he won the GOP nod fair & square. Did he? or did the dem machine turn out their fraud units?
he has wrapped up the GOP nod; He has? last I heard he has 800 maybe 850 delegates.
Obama v. Romney the differences;
Romney is a Fabien socialist, Fabians will ease us into the water and slowly turn up the heat until we are all slaves and most wont notice.
Obama is a revolutionary Marxist Communist, The adherents of that school are willing and eager to finish taking power by lining up and shooting those who refuse to become the states slaves.
With some exceptions all to many politicians over the past one hundred years have been Fabians and we are a long ways down that dark hallway leading to enslavement. They have been turning up the heat for that long and we havent noticed!
Romney’s words say one thing, his past actions have been the opposite of his current words.
Ive seen this meme over-and-over: Where did you people learn your logic & simple arithmetic?
In an election, Jones (the Democratic candidate) defeats Smith (the Republican candidate) by a single vote. After the election, two registered Republican voters say they didn't bother voting because despite the fact that they absolutely hate Jones, Smith just wasn't their ideal Republican candidate.
I live in New Hampshire. Obama won this state in the last election. It's close enough here that Romney can win. I'll vote for him and do what I can to get others to do the same. I'll try to win the state house for a good conservative, Ovide LaMontagne as well. It's time for the Live Free or Die state to get back to its roots.
Romney was not our family’s first choice either. However, he is showing determination and a willingness to fight.
We can not ignore this choice. Everyone must vote their conscious and set that right with God. I cannot in good faith, let this Christian hating marxist continue to destroy this country. We were Blessed with the right to vote or not vote if you chose that option. Let us make the choice of voting while we still can.
“My prediction is that the majority of the spam-a-lots who constantly strafe these threads with Im not voting for Romney declarations will - on Election Day - end up voting for Romney.”
For their sake, they had better. If this slug gets re-appointed, we all go down.
“Not planning to vote for Romney is planning to support Obama.”
And, we haven’t even factored in the motor-voters, yet.
At times it seems they are inside Team Obama's decision cycle.
Inside the loop....wins every time....just like Sarah Palin.
