In Case You Don't Like Romney...
Columnist Andrew McCarthy gives us what probably is the most important question regarding the upcoming presidential election …
“If Romney wins the nomination, as seems very likely, I will enthusiastically support his candidacy. For my friends who may have hesitation on that score, I’d just ask you to keep four things in mind:
1.. Justice Scalia just turned 78
2.. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year
3.. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August
4.. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago and has had cancer twice.
Whoever we elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court — in addition to hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.
If you don’t think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, I think you’re smokin’ something funky….”
So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didn’t get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can't win ... just imagine this possibility:

We may not like the choices, but to choose to not vote for Romney, is to choose to help Obama.

I am sick of this fear tactic. The only way it really matters is if you are in a swing state.
My state will go for Romney, it has gone Rep since FDR. It really does not matter who I vote for, so I am voting (lower races are always close), but I am voting my conscience and sticking by my conservative principles. I am voting against BOTH Romney and Obama.

He has repeatedly said he was “pro-choice”, he championed low cost and free abortions as governor, why do you think he is pro-life?

A vote for Romney is mocking God. Beware America.
I have posited my theory that there are only 30 people on Free Republic who have a rabid hatred of Romney to the point that it has destroyed all reason.
My theory is that these people, though few in number, have created a feeling that they represent many or most of us because of their sheer persistence and multiple posts, many of which are cut and paste.
I now feel it is my duty to go through these posts and see if I can add any new names to my list, which now numbers 27.
But I don’t want to. However, I probably will and will let you know the actual number later.
At present, I am still looking. I have a few options in mind, but at least I know that I can stand before God and say that I voted for the best person I can.

First of all, kudos for posting a pro-Romney post and sticking with the thread to answer every false accusation.
I was only able to bring myself to read 110 posts, they became more repetitive and stupid.
However,I’m forced to admit I found additional Romney haters.
They now number 46. I am now running into massive repeat posters so I don’t think that number will increase much.

Well, every single Romney hater has posted here and we’re still under 50.
I think there would be far more people to come to your defense except that people are tired of arguing with mindless trolls.
What gets me the most is that most of these people either do not realize they are, in effect, supporting Obama, or that they don’t care.
Either case is scary.

Here, I'll help: I despise Romney's politics and consider him a radical liberal baby aborting, gay marrying, gun-hating, 3rd way, social corporatist. Surely that qualifies me.
My position has not and will not change. I won’t be voting for or supporting an abortionist/homosexualist statist for the presidency. No Romney vote here.
