Orlando Sentinal ^ | June 12, 2012 | Jeff Weiner

Posted on 06/12/2012 9:02:42 AM PDT by Aunt Polgara

The judge who revoked George Zimmerman's bond did so after he determined that it was "apparent" that Zimmerman's wife had lied under oath, and clear that Zimmerman "does not properly respect the law."

Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester revoked Zimmerman's bond on June 1, but his written order was filed Monday. In it, Lester lays out his rationale.

Just think if he had followed directions to not go after the kid that nite...he wouldn’t be in jail, he wouldn’t have $100K and a kid would still be alive.

Oh shut up, you turd. That "kid" who was 7-8" taller than Zimm and beat the crap out of him got what he deserved. Zimm DID go back to his car, but that wasn't enough for the "gangsta", who confronted him.

I wonder if Lester makes a habit of punishing people for what he thinks is in their heart based on the actions of their spouse. Could it be any more plain that this “judge” is pandering to the riot inciters?

I lost respect for the law a long time ago, when I saw how unevenly it is applied.

do you have ANY evidence to prove that?

phone GPS?

physical locations?

hard evidence?

or are you just parroting the trial lawyer bar and race baiter talking point?

Your analysis was great until you said reasonable doubt was a weapon for the prosecutor. It is in fact a sheild for the defendant. Zimmerman did hurt his credibility IF this is allowed in at his trial and IF he testifies.

“Zimmerman was an utter fool to do this - he now has given the Prosecution the best weapon they could possibly have hoped for, “reasonable doubt”.”

Reasonable doubt is in favor of the defendant. The prosecution has the responsibility to prove beyond reasonable doubt.

“Has the judge considered that maybe Zimmerman is just NAIVE? That maybe just maybe he considered those donations for his legal defense not HIS money being that it would be going directly to his defense lawyers?”

I think that’s a very good point. That the money was already earmarked; a plausable explanation of why it didn’t occur to GZ to mentione it. I can’t say I wouldn’t have failed to mention it either.

Just think, if you knew what you are talking about you would never have posted that obvious nonsense.

The same could be said if the kid hadn't attacked him.

Real Americans are not in the habit of blaming burglary victims for not locking their doors..

The law only works if you’re a liberal Democrat with a good liberal Democrat cause.

Don'tcha know? A White, Hispanic, Black, Catholic Democrat kills a Black Democrat, and it's all Conservatives' fault.

I’d love to see the case in which the prosecutor is using reasonable doubt as a weapon. If the defendant is found guilty it must be beyond a reasonable doubt.

Ahem, that means the defendant would use the reasonable doubt to obtain a verdict of not guilty.

If you mean you would reasonably doubt the defendant’s version of events because he misrepresented something, then you would also need to look at the motives for him to be able to leave the area pending trial, since the vigilantes and “regulators” were offering rewards to kill him before the proof comes out in the trial.

I reasonably doubt the Prosecutor’s case.

He was advised to not go after the kid, right?

He got $100k for defense, right?

The kid wouldn’t have died at his hands, right?

What's the Judge's name?? Nifong you say !!!

Don't kid yourself....This judge was "selected". You can hear it in everything he says.

I think Zimmerman's attorney should ask for a change of venue.

how could there have been an intent to cover this up?

There was no intent to cover it up. Shellie Zimmerman even offered to get her brother-in-law on the phone to confirm the amount. Neither the judge, nor the prosecution took her up on the offer.

You believe all this would still have happened if he had taken the advice to not pursue the kid?

The prosecution still “has no ammo”. that's why they’re making up petty crap like this. The question is why you are believing it.
