Glenn Beck once said that leaving Fox News Channel, as he did in 2011, would earn him $40 million by allowing him to concentrate on his own web-based subscriber operation, GBTV.
Now The New York Times reports he has signed a $100 million contract for his radio shows to appear on Clear Channel Communications stations across the country.
The move puts the pressure on Rush Limbaugh, whose advertisers abandoned him earlier this year after he called a college student a "slut" because she supported contraception coverage in healthcare plans. The Times said:
Now carried by more than 400 stations, the show typically ranks No. 3 among all news-talk radio shows, behind Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, so the contract extension brings a measure of stability to local stations that carry it.
Limbaugh's contract is worth $200 million per year. Beck's is worth $100 million over five years.

Wrong. He has talked about his TR.
Really? Then why does he wear the 'magic underwear'? Some sort of solidarity thing?
I agree with everything you posted. The fact is, that a good number of people choose to be morons. The informed, in general, learn little from Glenn Beck. The idiots don’t pay any attention, and the fleet-hearted, semi ignorant in the middle learn the most from him, and it’s to them that he plays the cartoon fiddle.
It’s like watching movies these days. I have seen few movies in the last 20 years that were worth watching. Not many people think at higher that a 3rd grade level anymore (Well, what used to be 3rd grade, many graduates cannot even read anymore).
In 1999, Beck married his second wife, Tania.[28] After they went looking for a faith on a church tour together, they[28] joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in October 1999, partly at the urging of his daughter Mary.[32][33] Beck was baptized by his old friend, and current-day co-worker Pat Gray.[28] Beck and his current wife have had two children together, Raphe (who is adopted) and Cheyenne. Until April 2011, the couple live in New Canaan, Connecticut, with the four children.[34][35]

As much as I like Glen,I don’t think Rush will have much of a problem.Rush is the head of the spear in talk radio.Everyone else just follows behind.
LoL.
Well, since he has a TR, it better 10%, or his loses it.
And the moon is made of Blue Cheese!!
Weeee....!!!
He is LDS.
They joke around like Jr. High kids, tease that they are going to "tell us something important"...but not now...maybe next week.
And he "weeps" on air.
That's the trifecta for me........
Mormons like all Jews of Israel who don’t accept Jesus- end up in the same place.
ummm... how does this put ANY pressure on Rush, when most of the advertisers who left were shortly afterwards beggging to come back
>>The move puts the pressure on Rush Limbaugh, whose advertisers abandoned him earlier this year after he called a college student a “slut” because she supported contraception coverage in healthcare plans. The Times said: <<
This is so silly.
It’s just to get a dig in to Rush.
There is no pressure on Rush at all. Beck likes mornings. He has always been on then. If anything, it boosts the stations, like the one in Cleveland that run Glenn then Rush.
that is a stupid thing to say
Article is a bit twisted!
Beck did faux paux racial slurs against the President and others which initiated a liberal campaign to rid his show of advertisers leaving his Fox show with goldline gold sellers and other sleazy advertisers, not top tier. He made mistakes and hopefully he’s learned. But to position his few grand mistakes against Limbaugh who in 25 years nary makes a mistake is ludicrious. Limbaugh recovered, Beck lost a show.
Limbaugh's contract is worth $200 million per year. Beck's is worth $100 million over five years 20 Million per year.
Yep 10 Percent is really putting the pressure on ole Rush who must be laughing his ass off.
I stopped listening to Glenn Beck when his radio show left New York WOR, and stopped following him when he left Fox. Did I miss anything?
They have to keep peddling that lie.
The overzealous bigots always seem to forget Matthew 7:2. Not to worry, one day they’ll get an up close and personal demonstration.
Beck has talked on the air about the value of tithing so I would guess that Utah will see more than $2,000,000 from Glenn.
