With the money we are wasting on gummit, every third person should be a cop, fireman or teacher. They are simply pawns for more and bigger bureaucracies.

Speaking of Watergate.....

Woodward and Bernstein, now aging do-do’s with Deep Throat now known and with Watergate increasingly seen as peanuts compared to Slick’s lying under oath and Obama’s corruption, have a big FOUR page article in the WAPO this week or somewhere, sometime. I know there was a link so I clicked in.

The title was “NIXON WAY WORSE THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT” or some paraphrase thereof.

My eyes rolled.

I read about a page and a half and goodness the dribble, the dribble, dribble, nothing dribble.

By me those two loser-burgers never did present evidence that Nixon was worse than thought.

To my surprise, to my everylasting surprise, the comments were filled with suggestions that Nixon, however “evil” he might have been, DID AT LEAST STEP DOWN for God’s sake.

Unlike Slick Willy, for example, who GOT IMPEACHED. And many commenters said that compared to this Obama admin Nixon was small potatoes.

Trying to re-build a collapsed legacy is what they’re doing and I’m thinking the article was likely done at the behest of a White House losing all credibility cause dear Lord....

NIXON?

I don’t know if I mentioned this before....Did I tell you that I got a gun?

Indeed.

Took me all day, had to check my credentials, had to fire it, had to pick one.

A Smith & Wesson revolver. It’s loaded, securely located.

Because Obamer gets elected again, guns will probably be made illegal.

Before this, I truly believe, adjusting tin foil hat, that there’s going to be big problems this coming election.

Two things: Occupy Wall Street and the Florida Zimmerman case. These two things, with the help of the very honest Reverunds Sharpton and Jackson, are being set up to be ready to create havoc come the November elections.

Now I’m not going so far as to say the country will be wrecked and burned a la Watts of yore. I DO see a plan to set the looons free in the big cities, where OWS seems to be hanging out, and there’s always ghetto type areas to mine for unrestive citizens.

I think the plan is to SCARE the Tea Party types from voting, more so than to create havoc, and to do so in areas where you get more bang for the buck, ie the big cities and their environs.

I recall the Black Panthers of Philadelphia that Eric Holder refuses to prosecute.

I never held or shot a gun in my life but I’m ready, I’m ready.

This Week is actually strong. Coulter, Huckaby, Rendell, and Van Jones !...sitting next to Ann, none-the-less.

A main meme is that Pubbies want the economy to fail and "won't pass their own legislation". Huck and Ann are holding up well.

His number of news jobs sounds great as a cumulative number, but

Obozo the clown knows the stupid sheeple of America will believe his HALF-TRUTH of creating millions of jobs, all the while pointing to Bush losing 800,000 just a month in the last couple of months of his admin. WE NEED AN HONEST MEDIA AND A WIDE AWAKE ELECTORATE IF THIS IS TO EVER BE FOUGHT AGAINST. Welcome to 1984.

It would spook the hell out of me also. Teacher conferences should be held at school and an uninvited teacher visit smacks of unwarranted nosiness into home conditions.

Great catches kabar! Stephy also acknowledged the nsc team and that it had to be one of the people in the room which was immediately ignored by the bent axel whose sole mission was to proclaim that the regime had not part in the leaks. Stephy let him slide of course and dutifully went onto the next topic. If truth gets know it will be from our side shining the light of day on truth as usual.

Give it up! Romney is no more the same as Obama as a tomato is the same as a bicycle. Stop wasting bandwidth.

Exactly, if you look close at every word axel says(except for a few screwups) its all focus tested to benefit zero in the election thats all they care about all the time.

>The title was “NIXON WAY WORSE THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT” or some paraphrase thereof.<

They realize people are sneering (or outright laughing) at the stale beyond-all-reason “Bush’s Fault!” meme. So now they’re trying to convince people that nothing compares to “the evil that was Nixon”.

I don’t think it’s working.

From another fashion model currently wearing the latest in shortie nightgowns...

He didn’t look bad, perfectly acceptable for a town meeting at the local feed store.

He may have felt entitled to dress down since he wasn’t there in person but appeared through remote.

It just gave a bad impression. He should have worn a suit and tie. The switching back and forth from the impeccably attired Wallace to the farm boy look just put him at a disadvantage.

Admittedly, a very small thing but I wasn’t the only one who noticed it and complained.

Kaitlyn does very well in school, is well-adjusted, always clean and neat. There’s no reason to be snooping into her home life. Though I emphasize it wasn’t necessarily aimed at her.

Daughter said she talked to the teachers, there were three of them, but didn’t invite them in. She said some other parents did.

I know teachers need to report abuse and such but there’s something really weird about them stopping by like that. IF there’s suspected abuse they need to report it to social services people, not go investigating themselves.

Though hey, it could be innocent I must suppose.

On another note, hey, I am knee deep into Dick Cheney’s book “In My Time”.

I am enjoying this read so much but there’s so much about which I have questions. Everything covered in this book happened during MY lifetime so I remember so much.

I’m up through his hiring with Haliburton.

I’m going to do a drop-dead serious review of this book cause I’ve got so many questions.

Good observations all. Huckabee has a huge problem with wanting to be a nice guy ... he needs a little Donald Trump in him. I would not put anything past Obama including the leaks.

Where’s the liberal outrage over the selected drone bombings that also kill children and other innocents?

I think it was Krauthammer who said something like, “I’m not necessarily against it, but it doesn’t play well with the indignation expressed by libs over waterboarding, etc.”

Waterboarding never killed anybody, even the recipient much less bystanders.

I saw some other commenters upthread remark about this Nixon thing being covered on some other Sunday shows, that I don’t get here in the swamps.

This is not a coinky-dink so I agree with you. The Nixon thing was probably something silly Valerie Jarret came up with...”Hey, let’s get Woodward and Bernstein to revive the Nixon thing, get the American public’s mind on just how evil the Republicans can be, take the heat off of us and our perfect plan to leak stuff to make us look good.”

Or to that effect.

Again, the commenters said after the article, over and over....AT LEAST NIXON RESIGNED. Nobody seemed to be buying the meme that Nixon was so horribly bad.

Somebody call the Republicans and have them use that talking point cause how damn evil could he be if he stepped up and resigned without prompt, compared to, just throwing it out there, CLINTON?

"Obama says he has created 4.5 million jobs during the first last 27 weeks months of his Admin."

That works only if you count only the months with job increases, and don't count the months with job losses.

Obama likes to say that Bush only created 118,00 jobs in his entire 8 years. That only works if you count the jobs starting the first day of the Bush administration (neglecting the residual of job losses from the Clinton Recession and then 9-11) and go to the last day of the Bush administration which includes all of the losses from the financial collapse. If you count Obama jobs from day one, as he does with Bush, including his first 15 months, he has LOST a couple of million jobs.

No one died in Watergate. Try convincing Brian Terry's family that the Nixon admin was more corrupt than Obama, big Sis, and Holder.

They are excellent at trotting out statistics.

This only works because a lot of people believe in statistics and/or statistics are so boring that people tune the whole thing out.

It is pathetically easy to manipulate statistics.

All we have to do is look around. People are out of work. People can’t sell their houses which are often underwater.

You don’t need statistics to tell you that.

What was he thinking?

A suit and tie, yes. To those who speculate the guy might have been rehearsing for Veep to Romney, come on.

He don’t have the sense to present himself as best as he can to the world?

I’m watching Axelrod on Candy Crowley and he’s wearing a suit and tie.

Consider Daniels outta the Veep race.
