New thread so we can keep this at the top of the breaking news sidebar.
Please posts updates here.
He was classy and reached out to the other side. I guess that is what he had to do. To lash out and gloat would have looked petty. As much as we might have liked for him to do it! Heh.
No. A 54-45 win should not comport with a 50-50 exit poll. CNN was unacceptably wrong anf biased.
In any political race 55-45 is considered uniformly a landslide.
Amen!
You're welcome.
Seems stuck at 88% reported though. Kinda odd.
So, to sum up: three elections with national implications since 2008; 2010 midterms, Scott Brown and now this. The Dems are now 0 for 3!
ROFL!
Geez have patience, it takes time to manufacture 20,000+ ballots.
No.
It is not.
O'Malley is under the illusion that he is presidential timber for 2016 - despite the fact that 70% of MD residents DO NOT believe that he would make a good prez [not bad for a Blue state - huh] ...
He is likely to have his DREAM Act repealed this November by referendum - and there is slightly more than a 50-50 chance that gay marriage will also be repealed ...
The "Mo Fo" has increased taxes on the top earners, which will cause them to leave the state.
Increased electricity bills for all by $2 for ... "Wind Farms".
Tripled the "Flush Tax" for all ...
And foisted 50% of the state worker pension liabilities from the state back to the counties. This DECREASES the STATE deficit - but INCREASES the COUNTY deficits ...
He thinks this makes him out to be a deficit hawk, BUT the money STILL has to be paid. ONLY, it will be paid for in COUNTY taxes - NOT STATE taxes ...
AND, he has NOT made ANY spending cuts - JUST INCREASES !!!
Watch them try to accuse fraud, like in 2004, because the actual votes didn’t match their “exit polls”.
Personally, anyone using this retarded argument in my presence will find my foot up their ass.
Not sure if this source is still viable, but.....as of now...
85% OF PRECINCTS REPORTING
Scott Walker (R / Inc.) 1,101,144 54%
Tom Barrett (D) 911,120 45%
Some one really needs to explain to these people we live in a Republic not a Democracy !
And what’s with that Senate District 21, stuck at 22% in:
State Senate - District 21 - Special General
June 05, 2012 - 10:41PM CT
Wisconsin - 13 of 60 Precincts Reporting - 22%
Wanggaard , Van (i) GOP 11,301 62%
Lehman , John Dem 7,033 38%
They are whining like little kids that is being weened off the teat over at MSLSD.
I tried to lurk but couldn't...turned into a rattletrap instead.
I've been posting all day about the difference between rumor and facts...which is what should separate us from libs. This, I believe, is another rumor (from our side) that gets spread that, while it has some basis in fact, is blown WAY out of proportion.
The county has a population of 488K. That's an eligible voting population of about 378K. In 2008...Dane County had 280K+ votes cast for president. In 2010, 220K votes were cast in the Gov race (or 58% or eligible voters). This year it looks like ~240K will be cast...
AND....MOST IMPORTANTLY...according to the State of Wisconsin, there are 325,866 registered voters in Dane county. So they had a 74% turnout...which is STILL GREAT and probably RIPE with fraud... but it isn't 120%.

I think whatever service is being used for vote totals may be down. I don’t call shenanigans as Barrett and Mitchell have conceded. They would not have if they thought they could make up the ground.
Good work, thanks.
Update: Bobby Jindal: A lot of people thought it would be a late night in Wisconsin. I think its going to be a late night in Chicago.
Ha!
