Poetic justice, should have given the bear a medal.

His family told him he would never amount to Sh#t but he showed them.

Drat. Bear shouldn’t have been euthanized. Truth is that was a good bear.... he knew a meal when he smelled the rat

I like this comment:

“Why would they euthanize him? the bear is a hero! they should’ve tranquilized him and moved him to the best forest in the US with the prettiest lady bears, and he could live out the rest of his bear days as the awesome stud he is.”

He probably killed himself and the bear just scavenged on the corpse. So they have to kill the bear, of course. Couldn’t be bothered to just move it to another area.

Some days you eat the bear, some days, the bear eats you.

Sometimes you eat the bear...and sometimes the bear eats you.

I will never get used to statements like “paroled convicted murderers”.

Once you truly viciously kill someone, in cold blood, not self defense, you should NEVER see the free light of day again. You denied that to another person, for you to be let go is a betrayal of that person.

The idea that someone could kill one of my loved ones and then be free to wander around a park - I think I would be angrier with the government than the murderer, even.

Looks like the “corpse” might have been thrown in jail for killing a rapist.

OK. Which was it? Was he dead or alive when the bear drug him out of the car?

The black bear was later euthanized by conservation officers

You idiots! He did a better job than all of you guys combined!! He should have been put in charge of the homicide division. He could have taught you folks a thing or two. And all of that without a gun!

“The bear pulled Wagner’s corpse from the vehicle through an open window and buried him”

Definitely looks like he was already dead.

“Conservation officer Darcy MacPhee told CTV: “The bite mark measurements that we had from the body matched perfectly with the teeth on that [euthanized] bear, so we were confident that we had the animal that had been feeding on this person.”

So if the teeth marks hadn’t matched, how many bears would they have killed until they found the right one? Ten,,,twenty,,,fifty?
