"Chris Hayes' recent remarks on MSNBC regarding our fallen service members are reprehensible and disgusting," VFW National Commander Richard DeNoyer said in a statement to FoxNews.com. "His words reflect his obvious disregard for the service and sacrifice of the men and women who have paid the ultimate price while defending our nation. His insipid statement is particularly callous because it comes at a time when our entire nation pauses to reflect and honor the memory of our nations' fallen heroes."
He continued: "It is especially devastating to the many broken-hearted children, spouses and parents, left behind to grieve for a loved one. Such an ignorant and uncaring and blatant disregard for people's deep feelings are indefensible, and that is why the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States demand that Mr. Hayes and MSNBC provides an immediate and unequivocal apology."

Thanks ColdOne.
Any so-called media that hires Al Sharpton for commentary or for anything is not worth spit. . . .
He’s on my “Please God, let this a-hole’s face accidentally run in the front of my .45 ACP” list..
we should email the studio, and let them know we are very ‘uncomfortable’ about watching MSNBC, so we won’t watch anymore.
At best, his statement is incredibly insensitive. Even a lot of anti-war types can separate the grandeur of fulfilling individual duty with unfortunate war and peace decisions made at the top.
I hope the guy does some soul searching and apologizes to all the families of the American heroes he slighted.
Like Robert E, Lee's famous statement implies, duty itself is a sublime virtue and Mr. Hayes and many leftists often seem to have a hard time seeing that.
I’m uncomfortable calling anyone on MSNBC human.
perfect
MSNBC has proven time and time again what type of reporters they hire in their organization. Time to go after MSNBC and shut them down for promoting communist thinking and U.S. soldiers are protecting their rights to operate in this country.
You may think you want it, but you really, really don't.
Absolution in theory, at least. In practice, everything that comes out of Hayes's mouth from now on is going to be colored by his audience knowing perfectly well what has preceded it. To some of his audience, that's just fine. To the rest of us, it's a ticket to the channel changer.
If they were to get more than a dozen or so emails like that, they'd know it was a put-up job. They don't have that many viewers.
The Commander left out that there are siblings such as myself who also have had siblings dishonored. My brother was killed on Okinawa. AS a WWII vet I have disgust for people who blow nonsense about Vets , especially those who could have/might have had the opportunity to serve. In another vein Obama and Romney’s family come to mind as draft dodgers.
You may think that you don’t support this or other types of these statements when you change the channel. The truth is that if you have cable a portion of your payment goes to MSNBC. The only way to get people like this off TV is to pitch your cable. I get things all the time now that I have gotten rid of my cable. Screw them I find statements like this very offensive and will not pay for this or other like minded programs to continue.
Oh yes I do. The country now allows fag marriage, socialized medicine, a changing ungrateful demographic where whites are the enemy, and a liberal mass who laughs at conservatives whose only solution is to pray or bitch on FR.
I will say it again: co-existing with liberals can never happen. They are traitors to the country.
I would be uncomfortable bending over in front of this a-hole.
MSNBC???? what’s that?
Anyone who disparages our troops and yet avails himself of all the perks and privileges of freedom is lower than snail sh*t, and should be put to work in a Japanese coal mine ca. 1942 or transported back in time and imprisoned in Buchenwald or Auschwitz.
.
That comment is dripping down from the Obama’s lips.....
