The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I’m glad to see that the guy is consistent, since he also believes that profit motives don’t belong in the business world either.
I guess technically, semantically, bribes are not considered profits.
There may be value for that type of experience but its not in my White House, the president said, where the goal is a strong and sustainable, broad-based five year plan,
combined with wealth redistribution, and re-education
of politically unreliable elements.
Obama’s buddies have made plenty of profit since he has been there.
And some wonder why this idiot has caused the countries deficit to skyrocket ?
Wherever profit motives are denied waste and abuse motives will dominate.
Fact is, corporations are people. It may be politically advantageous to talk of evil corporations, but corporations are not entities apart from the people who work in them. That’s not even counting the millions of people, stock and bond holders, who invest in corporations.
That nice new Ford truck sitting in a lot was put there by an amazing number of people cooperating in ways too complex for any mastermind or body of government masterminds to comprehend, but Ford is simply a collection of people.
What bothers me is the way the Democrats demonize corporations and investors. That’s us! Do the Democrats not understand that “investors” include millions upon millions of regular people, like you and me, who’ve purchased a few shares of stock? Do they not understand that regular people, like you and me, work in those corporations or work in other businesses who do business with those corporations?
BTW, Obama is right that profit motives don’t belong in the White House, but wealth redistribution and class/race/gender warfare don’t belong there either!
Do you think bureaucrats have JOB CREATION as their goal??? Bureaucratic government only has one goal in mind: its own self perpetuation.
Main differences between capitalism and socialism? Capitalism is voluntary, socialism is coerced. Capitalism creates wealth, socialism creates poverty. Capitalism has a robust history of economic success, socialism remains on the ash-heap of history as an unmitigated disaster.
Did this man ever take an economics course at Occidental/Columbia? There was a fella called Adam Smith who explained this rather clearly - even Harvard graduates can understand it.
Apparently being a community organizer and a US Senator for a year and a half is a better qualification than running a successful business, rescuing an Olympic games that was on the verge of collapse and being Governor of a large state.
This country is on the verge of going bankrupt as are/were many of the firms that Bain capital invested in. Seems to me Romney of all people has a qualification that we should require of the next President.
Just for the record I did not vote for Romney and don't think he was the best Republican candidate but given a choice between him and Obama it's not even close.
Just as a church is made up of people, the body of Christ is the church, we are the church. Not a good metaphor but it's similar in that people make up a group which becomes a corporation, take away the people there is not corporation.
A "corporation" has no mind of it's own, therefore Romney as much as I don't like thinking of him as president( but the alternative is worse) is muy correcto.
Obama=wrong again= in modern speak MAJOR FAIL! They didn't spank him enough in that kenyan backwater he was birthed.
