House Speaker John Boehner has become the latest politician to attack Facebook billionaire Eduardo Saverin for ditching his U.S. citizenship to avoid paying tax.
Speaking on ABC's This Week, Mr Boehner labelled the move 'absolutely outrageous' and said he would support legislation to stop wealthy expats relocating to dodge tax.
Mr Saverin, who pocketed more than $2billion when the social-networking site listed on the stock exchange on Friday, could avoid paying hundreds of millions of dollars in U.S. taxes after he relocated to Singapore.

Boner is a prick
Boner is retarded and needs to spend more time with his family.
They are all envious bastards. They all need to go.
Did he cry when he talked about this?
Gaahhh.....Boehner is an idiot. A pink-tie Republican idiot.
Maybe so, but the liberal Facebook scum who support high tax/high spend policies then dodge out when it comes time to pay are the real issue here.
If I had the money, and I certainly don’t, I’d be the first to give the finger to the cry baby on the way out.
No, the real issue is that the US has the highest corporate tax in the world.
If republicans had a spine they would use this as a turning point where they search for a new Speaker.
The Blubberer sounds like an Ayn Rand character - and not the good kind.
Unbelievable.
God Bless Eduardo.
The freeloaders now infesting America have decided that they want Socialism. Unfortunately, Eduardo is one of the guys they have chosen to pay for it.
So both parties are made up of proponents of confiscatory taxes and the spread-the-wealth doctrine, just in different ways?
Can we get a new speaker already? You know, one in line with the Republican principle that tax avoidance, as long as it’s legal, is patriotic?
Boner must go.
The GOP-e have a “spine”? I’m surprised the party hasn’t yet collapsed due to having alienated the conservatives once and for all.
I would happily renounce my citizenship to avoid the current war on wealth and the productive class. Boehner proves he’s no better than the socialists.
Who is John Galt?
Bad policy! The GOP should never endorse 1. penalizing tax havens (e.g. Carribean Islands), 2. taxing people for renouncing citizenship. It is places like the Carribean that helps to keep the US from increases taxes even further. Similarly, it is the ability to renounce citizenship to save on taxes that helps keep taxes low in the US. The GOP is moving us toward a North Korean mindset whenever it favors these types of penalties on tax havens.
The GOP is as much the problem as the Democrats.
M<}¥*/r F#%/#r!
WTF are Kommies?
Boehner, you are an insufferable prick.
Why not call it after the great American Sir John Templeton who had started the trend?
Well, if it weren’t for rich liberals having an epiphany when their policies come back to haunt them, there would be fewer rich conservatives out there.
