...well how darn much did Kristol get paid for this thing? Who paid him? Im thinking the Hillary campaign.
I was in there about 20 years and take my word for it, you’d find more logical thinking in the chronics ward at your local nuthouse.
Goolsbee comments that we can’t look to things Obama did three years ago but it’s okay to run a misleading advertisement connecting Romney to the closing of a steel plant years ago when he wasn’t even with Bain Capital. Sheesh!
So it’s Sunday morn and I already went to mass yesterday, sang the songs for the choir. Oh my ...what a story about my church I got...might be I share. Maybe not.
Anyway, can sleep late, until 8 in the am or so, then get up and do my Sunday cooking chores. I love Sundays, enjoy this thread, watch the talk shows, putter around.
6:45 am, the dog, which sleeps in my bedroom, comes out from her hidey hole and begins pacing. She’s ten years old and drinks a lot as they begin to do at that age. Thus she pees a lot. Oncit in a while she pees on the bedroom floor, gotta watch her carefully.
Well I didn’t especially want to get up so early, earlier than my other week days, but I’ll never complain should she tell me she needs to go outside, no sir. So I get up, let her out the back. SHE GOES UNDER THE DECK! She don’t even pee!
Well what hey?
So I call her back, come on JoAnn, you wake me up and don’t even pee? We go back in bedroom, she goes back in hidey hole, I try to sleep.
But this new kitten we got, love him dearly but he’s bad, dear Lord he’s bad. Every morning I got to give him a smidge of Frskies or he shall die any second, he is on his last legs.
Gerald is his name. He thinks I’ve lost my mind getting up and getting him all ready for some Friskies and a puddle of milk, being it’s his last breath and everything. So he begins scratching at my bedroom door and howliing as he has only two, maybe three breaths left before starvation overtakes him.
The dog, meanwhile, gets up once again and once again, now really mad, I let her out back to pee and this time she does. But she pees but a little so whatever had her spooked it wasn’t a full bladder.
Gerald, meanwhile, has to drag his body through the house as he pleads with me for food that he may live another day.
ONE MORE TIME...I go into bedroom, hoping for that one extra hour of sleep.
No go. Dog once again gets up, panting and heaving like she does when she’s scared. Gerald is about to go any second and by now he’s throwing himself at the closed bedroom door.
So I gave it up and got up.
I don’t know what’s wrong with the dog. She’s got amazing hearing, as dogs do. I suspect she heard thunder somewhere as she is terrified of thunderstorms. Or maybe an earthquake.
Y’all remember that earthquake that rocked the east coast? Knocked over a glass on my kitchen counter? Yup, JoAnn heard that and behaved the same way.
As for Gerald, well he’ll live another day as he finally got some Friskies and a puddle of milk, God Bless.
Wallace: Massachusetts was 47th in job creation.
In response, Ryan visibly gulped and began to lie.
[Wake up conservatives. These people should be Democrats
because of the way they ziplessly lie.]
Ryan makes unfounded claims exactly the opposite
of the facts which are here:
THE REAL DEAL: Massachusetts was 48th in
job creation under bad governor Myth Romney.
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

Goolsbee criticizes Romney for not creating jobs as governor, etc.
Ironically, Goolsbee is criticizing Romney’s tenure as governor for doing the same kinds of things to shore up the MA economy then that Obama is trying to do now on the National economy. Goolsbee claims Romney’s methods were failures.
Ryan responds that Romney created 40k jobs during his last year in office. The thing hurting our economy is a debt crisis, due to a failure of leadership.
Wallace brings up the 0-99 Senate vote on Obama’s budget proposal.
Well, the ghoul scoring pretty good points on why Romney sucks.
He’s firing the opening salvos of the upcoming Romney/Obama debates, and the campaign attacks for the November election.
Paul Ryan is excellent. He’s answering Wallace’s questions coherently and directly. Wallace is left stuttering and Goolsby tries to change the subject. Ryan would be a good VP candidate in that he is a good spokesman for conservative economics.
Ryan/Goulsbee is a liefest. It is all Bush’s fault, it’s congress’ fault, none of it is his fault.
Raise taxes on the rich and starve Granny. Pure scare tactics and communist rhetoric.

Watching Goolsbee try to justify and explain the Obama Admin actions and policies it like watching an earthworm try to wiggle across an electrified metal plate.
If the GOP keeps harping on the economy, they could have a winning issue. But, they have to explain the situation in terms the average voter can understand. Ryan seems very capable of explaining things in understandable terms.
Well, the ghoul scoring pretty good points on why Romney sucks.
Hes firing the opening salvos of the upcoming Romney/Obama debates, and the campaign attacks for the November election.
As an aside, I often wonder—do people like Goooooooooolsbeeeeeeee really BELIEVE what they are saying? Could anyone?
Editor of the Weakling's Standard.
Romney didn’t create a single job in MA, businesses did. Gummit cannot create jobs, it can only lose them by too much regulation and taxes.
Now Bayh is claiming we need more Porkulus to stimulate the economy. How about getting out of the way?
I leave at the end of the month. Couldn’t go if husband working overseas didn’t have lots of British Air miles. He got us free ticket (my sister is going with me).
Just curious: you list a CATO report dated 2004 as a summary of state performance through 2006. How do 2005 and 2006 compare?
Hyperliberal Etch-a-Sketch Romney raised taxes (calling
them ‘fees’) and sank (CATO’s term) the Massachusetts
economy.
CATO:
“* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide
those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.”
Romney ruined Massachusetts.
Romney also INSTALLED RomneyCARE and Gay Marriage
and covered up the BIG DIG and put in
liberal, murderer-freeing, judges.
LET’s LET HIM DO THAT TO AMERICA, too. [/s]
Good Morning All. Just back from a two week job in Springfield, IL. Had a good time and had the oppurtunity to visit many of the Lincoln historical sites. Went to his tomb. He’s still there. One of our greatest Republican buried in a corrupt state owned my the Commurats. Wonder how many of the tourists visiting the sites hava any idea he was a Republican?
At the G8 Summit, Barry used a term that was fairly cryptic: “fiscal consolidation”. WTH does THAT mean? We will all share our budgets, debt, and spending? Sounds like a new spin on an old Communist concept of ‘redistribution of wealth’ but at the ‘global community’ level. When the community-organizer-in-chief sits among a group, he can’t help but to organize them, I guess.
Brilliant as always, Bray! Thank you both for the highlight of my Sunday mornings.
One thing, though - green energy and global warming haven’t been completely destroyed yet, unfortunately. We have to diligently stay on this and work like hell to take back the Senate, put more conservatives in both houses and get the BHO scourge out of our White House. Then we need to keep the heat on the next POTUS (I still pray it’s not Romney).
He didn’t have a Republican congress pushing him in MA. Don’t forget the last 2 years of the Bush admin were controlled by a Dem Congress that went on a spending spree and never allowed a audit of Fannie Mae which killed the economy.
In most cases, congress has far more to do with losing jobs than the President/Gov does. I doubt Romney wrote Romneycare, he only signed what the congress wrote.
Oregon is as communist as MA and I would kill for a Gov as conservative as Romney. We have a full blown Marxist but our congress kept him under control.
That's very revealing advice from Krystal. Revealing of his intentions I mean.
I think Hillary on the ticket covers two things: 1) She's much stronger than dipstick Biden and 2) If Hussein's numbers continue to drop and the ineligibility question picks up steam (as it seems to be doing), Hussein can be yanked by the Dems and replaced with Hillary.
And here is Krystal helping them...
