First of all, not a newb.. just a purge victim from the primaries.

JimRob posted almost a month ago about a so called truce between Romney supporters and the rest of the FReeper community. Since then, it appears the left has little job to do in driving a wedge into the right wing, we are doing it still ourselves.

Were is this truce? How come all I see on here is Alinsky tactics of divide and conquer? Today there was a post about Evil Mittie and him fundraising with morning after pill distributors. And the "true blue conservatives" pounce, little do they know that this pill manufacturer is one of the largest generic pill manufactuyrers in the world.. who produce all kind of medicine, even Augmentin, Azithromycin and Cipro, common anti-biotics..

This so called truce makes me sick. Can't wait to read the next half-baked anti-Romney article and the zealot FReepers who will eat up its every word because it furthers the narrative of Romney that THEY want him to fit into.

I'm not upset that people have beliefs that won't "allow" them to vote for Romney.. but what really irritates me is this active campaigning against people who would support Romney.. what game are you trying to pull? To deliver us into 4 more years of Obama servitude, for what purpose?? It strengthens conservatives? Talk about a phyyric victory. If you don't support Romney fine, but we are all anti-Obama here.. lets stay on focus.

Woefully mistaken. Romney shares the same agenda as Obama (nationalize healthcare, advance homosexuality, regulate self defense, grow government, etc, etc, etc). With Romney at the wheel, we get there faster as the republican congress will be "compliant" for sake of "party unity". Obama is a mistake; Romney is a bigger mistake. At least Obama is a known combatant we are all prepared and, in fact, eager to dig our heals against.

You make a very good point in that Romney is not conservative enough. But I think its important to let the liberal left know that O’s agenda is totally unacceptable to the extent that the nation throws him out of the bus.

I think if enough Tparty type conservatives are in the congress, Romney wont be able to do what you predict, even if he dared. A lot of lifelong GOP congress persons are at risk of losing to the genuine conservative movement. They are the ones who propose legislation...besides Romney is so without passion, he wont have the gumption to force the alleged ‘agenda’ you claim he has.

What do you not understand. Romney is a shifter, I may not like his prior stances, but he’s movable. And I intend to get out there and vote for every truly conservative candidate headed for Congress. Once we get the establishment RINO’s out of Congress, it won’t matter what Romney wants...however we will also have REMOVED the islamofascist commie out the White House whose intention is to totally destroy the US as we know it. Do you want to spend another four years with a man sitting in our White House with a veto pen? If you do, our Conservatives we put in Congress are going to have an uphill battle trying to dig us out of this quagmire.

Let's say we have this professional nanny, and almost all the chillun she takes care of over the years go on to enroll in the best colleges in the country, with the best grades, and are all health and smiles to shame a Mormon bishop.

You paint a picture in absolute terms and nothing works that way. It’s all a matter of varying degrees of probability.

I do not care for Romney and if it was MY choice to pick our nominee I would have chosen Gingrich (I voted for him) based purely on his intelligence and great strength in presenting his views not to mention his forceful and confident style.

I lost and as much as I wanted my guy to win I also realized there maybe no future time to try again if we don’t at least make the first step to stop the bleeding. I find it truly ludicrous that people would put Romney in the same category as Obama. In fact I would find it ludicrous to assume ANYONE currently in the picture is even close to being as awful as Obama and that would include any Democrats, even (gag)Harry Reid.
