NAACP backs gay marriage
By DONOVAN SLACK | 5/19/12 5:35 PM EDT
CAMP DAVID The board of the NAACP, one of the nations oldest and largest African American advocacy organizations, has passed a resolution supporting gay marriage in the wake of President Obamas public endorsement of same-sex unions.
The mission of the NAACP has always been to ensure the political, social and economic equality of all people, board chair Roslyn M. Brock said in a statement following passage of the resolution on Saturday. We have and will oppose efforts to codify discrimination into law.
The chairman emeritus, Julian Bond, had already pledged his support earlier this week as part of a coalition of black leaders trying to tamp down speculation that Obamas support of gay marriage would divide the black community.
The resolution and statement Saturday specifically noted that the group supports civil marriage for same sex couples, while respecting religious freedom -- something the president also mentioned when announcing his stance.
Civil marriage is a civil right and a matter of civil law, NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous said in the statement. The NAACPs support for marriage equality is deeply rooted in the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution and equal protection of all people.
The group has taken public stances against discrimination based on sexual orientation in the past. The NAACP opposed Proposition 8 in California, the federal Defense of Marriage Act, and more recently, Amendment 1 in North Carolina.
Here is the full resolution released Saturday:

I am a conservative and an Independent.
I'm all for the Tea Party being a separate third party that would then vet out alliances from both established parties with those that are disenfranchised with the socialism found in either political direction.
Forging the alliance by voting in unity against that which is immoral and unconstitutional. I see no hope in reeling in the Republican party from socialism from within the party. I see external, i.e. Tea Party/third, pressure as a means to a truly conservative end. IMHO. Puckster
The GOP has sub-parties in it, as would still the Democrats if they weren’t so naziesquely regimented. The practical politics seems to be for Tea Parties to try to establish presence and followings in the GOP rather than being spoilers.
Zer0 might be open for sex slavery as is practiced in the Muslim world—young boys sold as sex slaves, that is.
And the black church WILL fall in line, I assure you.
“naziesquely”
Duly noted....I’m looking that up as I post.
“Plutocratic fascist naziesquely orwellian roveianlly infanticidal murderous lying thieving socialists”
It’s a copy and paste....beyond my own capabilities...but, it seems to sum up socialism, right or left.
Can we start a NAACCP????

25% of Black males have been incarcerated. Most inmates in US jails are Black. Homosexual relations are widespread in prison.
Wearing pants pulled down below the waist is popular in the Black community. Why? Because in prison, that is a sign that you are looking for Gay sex.
Finally, most Black Rap and Hip-Hop "Stars" are Homosexual.
Given the percentage of blacks in the prison population and the sodomite lifestyle that goes on in prison, this makes perfect sense.
Look up the former CFO of the NAACP. I would bet that support for “alternative lifestyles” runs deep within the organization.

So why did they have to wait until after obama said he supported it before they made a resolution?
English is great in how you can tag on suffixes. Nazi, Naziesque, Naziesquely. Noun, adjective, adverb. But it has to happen in a logical order: Nazily doesn’t make sense.
Well...of COURSE they do....NOW....
Urkel told them to.
NOW has always been pro-abortion. They kicked their pro-life members out in the 1970s and they started Feminists for Life.
The irony is that the pro-abortion member of NOW tend to be lesbos, who never have to worry about an unwanted pregnancy.
Unless they decide to get artificially inseminated so they experience abortions without having sexual relations with a man. That wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
