Zimmerman murder case looks like long shot

Unless Angela Corey has something she's not telling us, her second-degree-murder case against George Zimmerman is looking more and more like a long shot.
The special prosecutor assigned to investigate the death of Trayvon Martin released hundreds of pages of evidence last week.
But any expectation of a bombshell to explain her reason for filing a murder charge which comes with a much higher burden of proof than a manslaughter charge was short-lived.
The documents failed to answer the case's biggest questions: Who started the fight between Zimmerman and Trayvon? And whose voice was heard screaming for help on a 911 call?
None of the witnesses saw the entire confrontation between the two, or who threw the first punch.
The evidence does, however, support Zimmerman's claim that he was assaulted by Trayvon whether Zimmerman started it or not.
Photos of Zimmerman's bloodied head and swollen nose show he was injured.
On the other hand, Trayvon's autopsy report showed no sign of bruising or other injuries that would indicate he was punched by the Neighborhood Watch leader.
That only further serves to bolster Zimmerman's claim that Trayvon went after him and that he shot Trayvon in self-defense.
It can't be good for Corey when her discovery documents appear to strengthen the defendant's case more than her own.
The best piece of evidence for the prosecutor is something we already knew but was explicitly stated in a Sanford police report: Trayvon's death was "ultimately avoidable" if Zimmerman had stayed in his vehicle and waited for law enforcement to arrive....

I wonder how many people realize that the operating Culture of this nation is as lying and corrupt as any local yokel court at the height of Jim Crow? I doubt that very many localities would have given this put up job of a case the back of their hand as it deserves. Not a God-fearing Man or a Patriot has shown his face in it so far.

Long shot is a weird way to say miscarriage of justice. Yes it is and well spoken.

The justice department went down there and pretty much forced her to file charges. Having the full weight of the Federal Government on your back is enough to make most people cave in.

Weed has nothing to do with the case. Drop it. He was supposedly attacked. I will go with that.

THC can stay in your system for four weeks. That’s why many people who get tested use cocaine.

August 8 is the evidentery hearing. The judge could throw it out due to lack of evidence or on Zimmerman’s presentation of self-defense.
If it is thrown out, things will blow up in Obama’s face. The riots may still be going up to or near the election.

Based on what we've seen up to this point, the case might not make it past a hearing to determine whether Zimmerman has immunity based on Florida's controversial "stand your ground" law... Nope, that won't work. Z was not standing... he was on the ground. His only shot is if Floriduh has a "lying on the ground getting the snot punched out of you, your nose broken, bloody head, and coming close to being killed" law.

things will blow up in Obamas face... Zer0 can then say that, if he "had a second son, he would look like George Zimmerman".
Of course, if he said that, his statement would be more correct than the other one about his first son.

You forgot some options:
C) She’s been promised a plumb job in the DOJ.
D) She’s afraid of riots and/or the lib media.
E) She’s got something on Zimmerman we haven’t seen.
My money is on C.

Weed used to make people goofy and hungry, not violent.
Maybe he feared losing his Skittles?

That’s certainly believable.

You should read up on Nifong’s replacement. I think Nifong is the smarter of the two, if that tells you anything. Read http://durhamwonderland.blogspot.com/ and see just how stupid voters can be.

Trayvons death was ultimately avoidable if Zimmerman had stayed in his vehicle and waited for law enforcement to arrive....
Trayvons death was ultimately avoidable if: - Trayvon was not expelled from school
- Trayvon had skipped the skittles and went to taco bell
- Trayvon had gone straight home
- Trayvon had knocked GZ out cold
- Trayvon acted and spoke respectfully to the neighborhood watchman
- George Zimmerman had super powers like superman
- Trayvon's parents were still an intact family that disciplined children
- Trayvon had a bicycle
- George Zimmerman had police backup - when seconds count the police are only minutes away

That is a myth, sometimes people get violent on weed, and many of our most violent elements in society are chronic pot users.

Whether it was four weeks or four minutes, the presence of the THC in Trayvon Martin's blood indicates he was accustomed to drug abuse. The history of drug abuse indicates the teenager needed a source of income to trade for the illicit drugs. The source of income for obtaining the illicit drugs may or may not include Trayvon Martin's participation in burglaries and/or robberies to obtain stolen goods and/or monies. Trayvon Martin's known past possession of a possible burglary tool and/or stolen women's jewelry at school indicates a possible history of such criminal activity. Consequently, it cannot be stated as fact by anyone that Trayvon Martin was not engaging in criminal activity such as soliciting the purchase or sale of illicit drugs or casing homes for burglaries when he came under observation by George Zimmerman. For all we know at present, Trayvon Martin assaulted George Zimmerman because Zimmerman's presence interfered with Trayvon Martin's ability to engage in such criminal activity as illicit drug trade or serving as a lookout for burglars supplying the youngster with illicit drugs.
So long as a jury is unable to exclude the possibility that Trayvon Martin assaulted George Zimmerman for the purpose of eliminating an obstacle to such criminal activity, the jury must find the defendant, George Zimmerman, not guilty of any form of unlawful homicide or unlawful pursuit.
The reporter is clearly mis-stating and misrepresenting the evidence in the case.

I think the kid is a dirtbag, but I’m quite sure GZ is not psychic. He had no idea that the kid smoked weed at some point in time. I’m also quite sure a person is innocent until proven guilty.(both parties) If TM was on top of GZ pummeling him, then it is self defense by GZ.

It may have even been an accident in the struggle for the gun. It could have been the other way if TM had gotten his hands on it first.
