Why Kenyan Birth Claim Was No 'Fact Checking Error'

No sooner did the literary agency brochure in which Barack Obama was said to be Kenyan-born surface than the media went to work to deep-six it.

"This was nothing more than a fact checking error by me - an agency assistant at the time," Miriam Goderich, now a named partner in the literary agency, Dystel & Goderich, wrote in an emailed statement to Yahoo News, which was then picked up ABC News. "There was never any information given to us by Obama in any of his correspondence or other communications suggesting in any way that he was born in Kenya and not Hawaii. I hope you can communicate to your readers that this was a simple mistake and nothing more."

This confession rings false to the point of preposterous for any number of reasons. Let us start with the obvious. At the time, 1991, the Acton & Dystel agency listed 90 clients, Obama among its least significant. How likely is it that Goderich would have remembered enough about a 1991 "error" to know it was hers, especially since it went uncorrected through several revisions until changed in 2007? To make this claim credible, there would have to be an existing paper trail leading to an Obama submission in which he lists an Hawaiian birth. I am confident that there is no such submission.

I'd also suggest that IMO the entire "birther issue" was started up again as a disinformation/misinformation campaign designed to keep the discussion away from Obama's abysmal economic record.

My thoughts exactly. It is finally starting to hit the tipping point from which there is no return. Problem is: How much will he steal on his way out? When an employee is being fired, they are escorted out and not given access to important “stuff”. Obama is diverting money everywhere by fiat. He just gave the PLO a ton of money that Congress withheld. He must be getting a percentage.

It’s not hard for an honest person to identify genuine innocent errors. So far, none of Obama’s “errors” sound like mistakes.

• Hillary is due her own sort of reparations since she was the leading Democrat presidential candidate until mmm-mm-mmm came along
• She now has added international experience to her resume, having served as Secretary of State
• Hubby Bill was the real "First Black President" anyway
• The GOP has made it even sweeter by pushing a candidate that is not liked by conservatives, really not liked by liberals and hardly a consideration for middletons

Wanted to add,regardless Obama’s eligibility, and his being a minipulating calculating commie punk, he promised to cut the deficit in half. He claimed he would reduce unemployment below 8%.
He spent trillions and there is virtually nothing to show for it.
Even if you except the premise he meant well..HE IS A FAILURE!!!

Not going to happen my friend. People like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are afraid to really vet obomba. I believe they are in the tank for obomba and much as I hate to say it I am quickly beginning to think they are life members of obomba's ministry of propaganda. Each disseminating whatever information they're told to spread in order to keep American's eyes off the truth. If it weren't for sites like WND, The American Thinker and a few others none of this information would get out. Hannity is only mentioning it because it brings him ratings and, because of his constant droning he repeatedly makes a mockery of the truth.

I hate being manipulated and can spot a manipulator a mile away.

I believe obomba is a Kenyan at best. I believe there is no difference in policy between obomba and romney. I believe we are sooooooooooooooooooooooooo screwed and that all hell is about to break loose.

I hope and pray that I am wrong.
