College professor: ‘Climate change genocide’ will be worse than Holocaust

A professor at Brooklyn College recently published a series of articles on the official campus website in which he associated climate change skeptics with early Holocaust deniers.

"I make my 'climate change denier' claim for one reason," wrote Micha Tomkiewicz, the Director of Environmental Studies at Brooklyn College and himself a Holocaust survivor.

"It's easy today to teach students to condemn the Holocaust, but it's much more difficult to teach them how to try to prevent future genocides...I don't want my grandchildren to die in a climate change genocide that we could have helped head off," he continued. Tomkiewicz, also warned that failure to take decisive action on global warming could result in the death of "billions of people."

80 years ago, people like this would be on street-corners holding signs, or quietly tucked away in the room in the attic when visitors were in the house.

Now they get to be on the public payroll at “universities.”

I have to wonder what his position on anti-semitism in europe, anyplace ending in "stan" and even liberal circles in the USA might be?

It is a pity that a survivor of the holocaust, even at 6 years old at the time, chooses to co-opt the suffering and misery of that catastrophe to further his own academic nest in the hopes of more government grants, phony reports, diddled data, et al.

We had another in this country, Congressman Tom Lantos, with a similar background but much older during his ordeal. He also chose to take that suffering and bank on it to further his own ends. I never saw a man more liberally corrupt and bankrupt at the same time. It is extremely unbelievable to be expected to believe that such and individual can decry the wholesale extinction in the Holocaust yet so blithely vote for abortion rights on a repeatedly wholesale basis.

The real genocide is being perpetrated with regulations against new, small, rural manufacturing starts and regulations against many other independent, productive activities. Much of that regulation (along with policies against downscale families) comes from global interests that are using government to prevent competition.
