If I am not mistaken, Hedgecock went national from local KOGO in SD.
Contract issues are such that it requires a non national to sub for him. I cannot for the life of me remember where or when I read that.....
then again I could indeed once more be hallucinating!
LOL

This is wonderful to hear, I knew it was in the works, but had forgotten about it. It is a disgrace, though, that because of the (rightful) fear of leftists, it had to be somewhat hush-hush.

Limbaugh, a native of Cape Girardeau in southeast Missouri, addressed a crowd of more than 100 Republicans during a closed-door event in the Missouri House chamber. Speaking from the chamber's dais, he thanked his family for their support throughout his career, denounced liberals and Democrats as "deranged," then helped lift a black curtain off a bronze bust of himself, which he hugged _ head to head _ for photographs.Oh man, I wish I could have been there today for that.
CONGRATULATIONS, Rush!
...although I'm still ticked off at you for torturing us (yet again) with the awful Mark Davis today! >:-(

There's this moronic, leftist hag on an afternoon radio show in KC who went apoplectic due to the fact that this was an unannounced presentation. She was spitting mad because she and her ilk were "denied" their right to protest at the ceremony because it wasn't announced! She was denied her Constitutional rights!
ROTFL! Rush is right... these leftist moonbats ARE deranged.

I cant forgive him for that.Me neither. Mark Davis is the absolute worst.
My husband (and most FReepers) agrees - he also was looking forward to hearing Rush spout off today about the weekend's events. Instead we're "treated" to Mark Davis, who sounds vaguely gay (or maybe he just has a smarmy voice) talk in circles for 3 hours. He wastes more air time talking about nothing - and about himself and his "feelings" - than any other talk show host I've ever heard, and I've heard hundreds of 'em over many years.
There are hundreds of non-nationally syndicated conservative radio talk show hosts in the US today who would be FAR better subbing for Rush than Davis. Why Rush continues to torture us with Mark Davis, I'll never understand.

If Mark Twain was alive today, he would have his own talkradio show.

Go, Rush!We forgive you for inflicting Mark Davis on us today!! No, we don't! Couldn't he get Steyn or Sowell? Davis is like your worst middle school history teacher droning on and on.

Yup, and I would be irritated if Bret Harte subbed for Mark Twain. I’ m just a whiner because I paid for Twain 24-7.
