It's official: Obama '1st gay president'

Despite the fact Barack Obama is married with two children, Newsweek magazine is dubbing him “The First Gay President” on its latest cover, crowning him with a rainbow-colored halo.

The cover comes in the wake of Obama’s newly declared support for homosexual marriage in America.

The edition, which hits newsstands Monday, features a column by Andrew Sullivan, an openly homosexual self-titled conservative political pundit.

“When you step back a little and assess the record of Obama on gay rights, you see, in fact, that this was not an aberration. It was an inevitable culmination of three years of work,” Sullivan said in a statement about his article.

“He had to discover his black identity and then reconcile it with his white family, just as gays discover their homosexual identity and then have to reconcile it with their heterosexual family,” he wrote, discussing similarities between the president and the homosexual community.

You would expect somebody would NOW interview Larry Sinclair. ......unless its Odumbi’s Coming Out Party. ‘Cause you know, I don’t hear any complaining from the WH.

This are also full on gay men who are married with children and deep in the closet. Don’t ask me how the kids are conceived. Either they pretend the wife is a dude or there is no such thing as 100% gay. I think Elton John has admitted he enjoyed sex with women.

I don’t think Obama is homosexual, but a perv who will do stuff with men? No trouble believing that. My gut tells me that’s the truth but I wouldn’t be certain of it.

The Newsweek headline BTW is reminiscent of the very white Bill Clinton being called the first Black President. It wasn’t intended to be taken literally. But boy is it ever unhelpful to Obama. Just about the last thing he needed right now.

We see now why he didn’t “come out” for it before. Even though anyone with a quarter of a brain could see he was pro-gay marriage actually saying it has proven to be a big deal. Make believing and trying to have it both ways was working for him a lot better than this since Americans are a people who play along.

Politically I don’t know what he was thinking, he must have really wanted that gay money.

I’ve had that discussion with people. Would governments (local and federal) go broke paying spousal benefits? Would some gays stay home and open up job markets? I don’t know what would happen. Each employee receiving spousal benefits now is entitled to have a spouse. Female or male. It’s a tricky subject and sadly one we will soon be living with so we will know.

...sadly [gay marriage is] a tricky subject we will soon be living with...

Seems like you aren't very hopeful. Maybe we shouldn't be so pessimistic. After all, it's lost in every state it's been put to a referendum. "Gay marriage" doesn't have to be inevitable; it can be argued against forcefully in the public forum by those of us with the guts to combat the corrosive brainwashing of the leftist media and educational system.
