Much as I hate to admit it, there was one interesting idea from the 1981 movie My Dinner With Andre: the notion of just sitting down and spending two hours listening to an interesting conversation at a nearby dinner table.
Well, dinner may not have been served, but the mostly-unplanned conversation between Adam Carolla and Dennis Prager was delightfully entertaining for the mostly-sold-out crowd Saturday night in San Diegos Spreckels Theatre.

GREAT stuff.
Carolla is Superfluous.. on a good day, and Silly on the others.. Appearing with Prager is like a Parakeet on a Pirates should.. where a Parrot should be..
"My Dinner with Andre", I had a date drag me to that. 2 hours, yes, TWO hours of New York libs talking in a restaurant.
Hope she was worth it.
Sorry hosepipe, I could not disagree more. Carolla is the libertarian voice of the successful middle age white guy. Not only does he make me laugh on a daily basis, I agree with about 90% of his stances. There are very few politicians that I can say that about.
Maybe Corolla should become a politician!
He's actually quite logical and brilliant about it.
Look up his rant on the Occutards, for example.
I’ve never seen the flick, but when people put down a Steven Seagal movie, I want to ask them if their favorite movie is “...Andre”. Because there is something worse than a bad Seagal flick. If people ask me how I can say a movie I’ve never seen is an awful movie, I just ask them what is the movie about. When they say it’s about two liberal New Yorkers talking about their lives, I just say case closed.
Maybe straightman DP2 is straightman DP1 ten years later and ten years older.
