Franklin Graham said President Obama has shaken his fist at God by announcing his support for same-sex marriage.
On Wednesday, Obama voiced his support for same-sex marriage, saying he was taking a personal position on the issue.
"I have hesitated on gay marriage in part because I thought that civil unions would be sufficient," Obama said in the interview with ABC. He added, "I was sensitive to the fact that for a lot of people the word 'marriage' was something that evokes very powerful traditions, religious beliefs and so forth."
Now, he said, "it is important for me personally to go ahead and affirm that same-sex couples should be able to get married."
Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, issued a statement Thursday about the presidents decision.

Can we stop with Obama is Muslim nonsense. I don’t know any part of the Muslim religion that endorses gay marriage either.
Obama is a humanist Marxist progressive. He doesn’t believe in any God.
Not sure God will hear that prayer...
Romans 12:4; Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:35; 1 Corinthians 4:12, 13; 1 Peter 2:23, 3:9
Anyone can love their family...but only through the Spirit of God can we love our enemies. "Do not be overcome with evil...but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21)."
Exactly. He is not a Muslim. He is not a Christian. He is a Marxist...and thus willing to take on whatever persona he needs in order to achieve his objective.
Because of the community he comes from he needed a Christian persona. He is no different than many others...like Nancy Pelosi...or "insert name here." They might be Roman Catholic...go to mass and live (and vote) contrary to the RCC's teachings. They may be Baptists in Texas and live in sin...whether inner city black or small town white. They might be going to the NY synagogue.
They are ALL alike. They USE religion to please their constituents but they have NO convictions and do not fear God.
Our churches are FILLED with people who are like this. Businessmen. Local Leaders. ETC. They are in church for ONE reason: The community expects it (and maybe tradition)....but it certainly isn't conviction. Their LIVES do not show it.
Romans 12:4; Matthew 5:44; Luke 6:35; 1 Corinthians 4:12, 13; 1 Peter 2:23, 3:9
Pretty clear - BLESS and CURSE NOT. LOVE your enemies.
Again...Jesus commands us to do these things...and the Holy Spirit commands us to do these things through Paul and Peter. But...you are certainly not going to be the last to rationalize your way around doing what God commands in His word. Matter of fact...that's what a whole group of homosexuals do in church every Sunday: Rationalize sin. Instead of reading God's word and saying "well...it says DO THIS and DON'T DO THIS" ...they make loopty loops with it.
Sorta like fornicators with their "But we're in love" arguement.
Take it up with God...
Could this be one of the events inshalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiach
Yah'shua's prophesy in Matthew 24?Mat 24:37 "For the coming of the Son of Man
will be just like the days of Noah.Mat 24:38 "For as in those days before the flood
they were eating and drinking,
marrying and giving in marriage,
until the day that Noah entered the ark,
Obama is an enigma wrapped up in a political intent of international enablers. I believe his personal history together with his catering to Muslims internationally and here in the USA certainly gives the appearance of some kind of Muslim fellowship which belies any of his, e.g. Pastor Wright, Christian appearances. That Obama would try to impress on the USA populace that Muslims were very much a part of the developing USA is nonsense talk. The Tripoli encounter certainly cannot be construed as part of events showing Muslim influence in the USA. He might well be a Marxist, Progressive as well but I doubt very much he is a humanist.
He no doubt has cultural ties to Islam. But he’s a Muslim in the same way Nancy Pelosi is a Catholic.
They both really only believe in their progressive cause and the only person they worship are themselves.
Matthew 5:44 - "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you..."
Luke 6:35 - "But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil."
Romans 12:14 - "Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them."
1Peter 3:9 - "Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, bless, for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing."
James 3:10 - "From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so."
Well Reverend, in that case, why don’t you step right up and lead the congregation in praying for the Kenyan Usurper, ok?
I’m sure you won’t be at a loss for words.
Romans 13:2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.
Titus 3:1 Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work,
1Ti 2:1, 2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.
So...you suggested to pray...sarcastically...yet the scripture is very specific that this is what Christians should do. I think Hebrews 5: 11-14 fits this situation very well...for this is a very simple concept. It's called: Read the Bible...and do what it says. Not Read the Bible...pick and choose...then attack those who decide to follow all of scripture.
Amen brother Franklin....amen sir
wicked wicked era we live in
and how quick it all collapsed
Amen, brother Franklin, Amen.

It may not be Sunday, but looks like it’s time to move this thread to the Religion section.

A Godly nation would not reelect this retard. Everyone says we are a Christian nation. Guess well find out. People vote their beliefs. Maybe it will be time to leave here.
Actually, God cares a lot for him and would like to see him change his mind and get to know Him.
