NOW president returns fire on Limbaugh
By DYLAN BYERS | 5/9/12 10:12 AM EDT
Terry O'Neill, the president of the progressive National Organization for Women (NOW), is returning fire on conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, who yesterday called her organization a "faux feminist group" and its members "femi-nazis," and launched an anti-NOW Facebook page called "National Organization for Rush Babes."
"I don't think conservative women want to associate themselves with his hate. I don't think they would want to associate themselves with his bullying," O'Neill told me this morning. "I don't think conservative women would want to associate themselves with his vitriolic attacks."
Limbuagh yesterday described National Organization for Rush Babes as an effort to counter NOW's "Enough Rush" campaign, which encourages advertisers to boycott his program. Limbaugh said NOW was wrong to think it speaks for women: "If there was ever a group that speaks for an almost infinitesimal minority of women, it's them," he said. "Rush Babes for America [is] dedicated to the millions of conservative women who know what they believe in: family, American Values, and not being told by faux feminist groups how to think."
But O'Neill said that conservative women, while they may agree with Limbaugh on matters of policy, would not support his "bullying," citing his recent attacks on Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, who he referred to as a "slut" and a "prostitute."
"I think there are extraordinarily few people who agree with what he said about Sandra Fluke," she said. "I don't think women want to watch Sandra Fluke having sex in a video tape for the sexual gratification of men."

Just what are the harridans progressing towards?
NOW has always been an insult to the feminine woman. Their role models, advocacy & purpose has never been to celebrate the historically honored female virtues; rather the celebration of envy & resentment; the pursuit of antagonism between the sexes, and a general disdain for the natural order, which for humans no less than other sexual creatures, requires both sexes--functioning as such--for any future.
It is one of the clearest indicators of the Alice In Wonderland quality that the Left has brought to the West, that NOW can be treated as a respected voice for American women, in the Media & Academia. (And see Women Hostage To Contrived Delusion.)

“Recent attack on Sandra Fluke”? When was that? 2 months ago?
Rush, doing battle with the NOW “queen,” is like going into battle against an unarmed woman who basically wants to be a man.
Thanks, just joined.
Yike! A porn star well past her expiration date right there...
I could never hate a “Babe”. The NAGs are the ones spreading hate here.
At least two months. It wasn’t an attack it was a statement of fact. If a woman on the corner is asking me to supply her birth control and we’re not having sex it’s called pandering. The wench is a ‘ho!
“She sure knows a lot about conservative women.”
She doesn’t know any, so she assumes the only existing specipmans (speciwomans?), are those villified by the left.
If you’d like to see true examples of “hate”, check out the left’s treatment of Palin and Bachman.
Watch Video Here ... 5 women showed up!
There were 2 supporters of Rush acoss the street.

COLUMBIA - Women from the Columbia Area National Organization for Women (NOW) will give up their lunch breaks Tuesday to gather outside of the KFRU radio station in Columbia protesting the station’s airing of Rush Limbaugh’s radio show.
Nine females and two males showed up to “Flush Rush.” However, two showed up in support of Limbaugh’s freedom of speech.
The demonstration is not the first time Columbia Area NOW has spoke out against the controversial radio host. Limbaugh’s program, which airs weekdays at 11 a.m. and weekends at 12 p.m. has faced local and national criticism.
Columbia NOW members went into the KFRU building when the protest ended to hand them a signed petition. According to NOW, the online petition to take Limbaugh off air had a total of 603 signatures as of this morning. The women told KOMU that KFRU told them their programming is not in their control. Cumulus Radio is in charge in Atlanta, Georgia. KFRU refused to comment on the protest today, as did the corporate office in Atlanta.
On March 19, the organization hand delivered 508 toilet paper rolls to the state capitol after House Speaker Steven Tilley, R-Perryville announced that Limbaugh would be receiving a honorary bust. They called the protest “Flush Rush.”
Most recently, Limbaugh received backlash for his offensive comments about Georgetown law student, Sandra Fluke.
Tuesday’s protest is just one of several protests planned across the United States during the month of May.

She certainly begins all of her sentences with the truth.
So did I!
My comment was meant to be ironic, but I can see how it could be misinterpreted.
What I meant was something like “Gee, for a person has probably not talked to a conservative woman in 35 years, she sure knows a lot about conservative women.”
Oh, I got it...
My post was aimed at the author, not you.
bwahahahahahahaha ,,, Rush certainly threw a rock into a pack of dogs, listen to one howl.
Liberals do not want liberty for anyone. They would rather dictate what we do, what we buy, where we go and when, and what we can do while there. Please donate. The Republic you save may be your own. |

Golly, I think she would be happy to same the ^exact same thing^ about John Lebowitz or Bill Maher.
Excellent!
I do not have a Facebook page and won’t be getting one, either.
