Do you really have to make this thread an anti-LDS thing?

I was for Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, Rick Santorum, and then Newt. Voted here in Idaho for Rick.

It's sad that Romney has become our nominee with his past record. But he has (or soon will be) the GOP nominee and the issues he is running on are clearly spelled out on on his site, and they are a far cry from his earlier days, and far far better than Obama.

As to religion, if you must make it about that, for those who want to know what a long time convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believes, who has been bombarded by all the anti-LDS material since considering joining and since doing so, read this:

My Witness for Jesus Christ

There is no anti-lds material here, it is material from lds sources. If you are unwilling to expect the change to what you say you beleive that is on you.
mormonism is being exposed on FR as else where.
Romney being the possible nominee will lay mormonism bare for the world to see, that is inevitable.
Romney is a liberal. He always has been and always will be.
He has for his entire political career taken five sides to every issue, there is no reason to believe his “statements” now.
Romney is who he is because of his mormonism not in spite of them, just like everyone is who there are based on their core beliefs. Romney’s are mormonism.

Was there something MORMON in it?

As a MORMON, do you have a Temple Recommend©?

Hey, Jeff. Harry Reid, a Mormon in good standing with the church, said several years ago while speaking to a large BYU student body also well-attended @ the professorial/admin level:
"I am a Democrat because I am a Mormon, not in spite of it."
Source: Reid Gets Warm Reception at BYU

If the "religio-political" combo dimension is true for Harry Reid, then, hey, why not Mitt Romney as well?

Jeff,

I'd hardly call it anti-LDS material, as if it has no substance.

A large part of it is sourced directly from LDS documents and the bible and it is posted by, at least some, ex-mormons who were committed Mormons at one time.

From what I have read of the postings showing the teachings of Mormonism, (never having been in the Mormon church), it has been, for the most part, exhaustively complete, even-handed, as objective as it can be, and fair.

The lds-org denies that Jesus is the Creator, that everything was created BY Him.

The lds-org is a thief of the Name and the Truth of Jesus Christ.
