...After Supporter Says President Should be tried for treason
The Obama campaign slammed Mitt Romney Monday for not confronting a supporter who said during a town hall event in Cleveland that the president should be tried for treason.
We have a president right now that is operating outside the structure of our Constitution, a woman said during a question-and-answer session. And I want to know yeah, I do agree he should be tried for treason but I want to know what you would be able to do to restore balance between the three branches of government and what you are going to be able to do to restore our Constitution in this country.
Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, ignored the treason comment and answered her question.
Well, as Im sure you do, I happen to believe the Constitution was not just brilliant but probably inspired, he said. I happen to believe the same thing about the Declaration of Independence. I would respect the different branches of government if I am fortunate enough to become president.
SNIP
Time after time in this campaign, Mitt Romney has had the opportunity to show that he has the fortitude to stand up to hateful and over-the-line rhetoric and time after time, he has failed to do so, campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith said in a statement. If this is the leadership he has shown on the campaign trail, what can the American people expect of him as commander-in-chief?
Romney repeated his position shortly after the event during an interview on CNN but rejected the notion that he had a responsibility to take on the audience member.
I dont correct all of the questions that get asked of me. Romney said.

So, according to The Won, Romney doesn’t antagonize the base enough? Well, makes as much sense as the talk I hear from the left about how the press savages Obama on a daily basis...far tougher than they were on Bush.
Getting nervous Hussein?
This from the same a-hole that was publicly hinting that he might consider handing GWB and Dick Cheney over to Spain if they were successful in getting the International Criminal Court to issue indictments for them for “war crimes”.
I can't blame the Obama folks for thinking that. McCain was masterful at slapping conservatives down. Peerless. If I were Romney, I'd tell Obama to go get McCain on the campaign trail to defend him again.
Federal law provides that treason may only be committed who owes allegiance to the United States.
My only question to Milktoast Mitt:
“If you become president, will you appoint someone in the Justice Department who will investigate, prosecute and jail Eric ‘the Thug’ Holder, Barack Hussein Obama, (and others) for murder, sedition, perjury, theft, conspiracy, embezzlement, treason, hate crimes, racial bias and on and on?”
My answer is that he does NOT have the NUTS. Like all the punk a$$ rinos he surrounds himself with, he will pee his pants and lose his load the first time some ratz calls him a “racist”.
How pathetic.
Throw it right back at that BASTARD (and he is, look it up) Barack.
Demand to know why he hired Shepard Fairey of the “Bush belongs behind bars” sticker campaign.
Barack has LIED in his address to Congress (which is why a congressman said “YOU LIE”), he has attacked the Supreme Court repeatedly. He does NOT believe in 3 separate branches of government. He does NOT support our allies. He bows before foreigner leaders. He trash talks America on foreign soil. He has declare surrender in the War on Terror.
Let’s not even bother with the whole gun smuggling to scare the public into suspending the 2nd amendment issue.
Dear Mitt:
When one of your supporters blurts out the truth about me, your preferred response should be “Obama’s a fine family man.” Thank you for playing.
Sincerely,
Barry
I saw an article today where somebody wants to blacklist the word "blacklist."
Romney's been waiting for a chance at the presidency his whole like. He will not be a pu$$y like McCain.
1. He isn't a legal President anyway he is a fraud not a Natural Born Citizen , and he knows it. TREASON.
Making laws on his own that the Congress will not pass TREASON
Calling Congress in recess illegally and appointing Department head by recess appointment. TREASON.
Telling Putin that he will be more flexible after the next election TREASON.
If Romney had balls he wouldn't apologise he would bring the charges and dare the Congress to impeach the Treasonous Faux President.
Well, John McCain spent much of HIS own campaign praising Obama. Of course, Obama feels it is the job of Romney to run around defending him. Obama isn’t used to being on the receiving end of insults (even if they ARE the truth!). He feels that he can say what he wants about his opponent- no matter how dishonest and insulting - and his opponent should be as stupid as John McCain and spend his time polishing Obama’s boots while on the campaign trail. I, for one, am glad that Romney shows no such tendency.
Didn’t Fairey get in trouble for stealing the base photo for that from AP?
Which part of Obama’s agenda to destroy America is NOT “Treason”?
I know Romney has seen a lot of rejection as a missionary (but that qualifies him only for rejection). The question is...can he handle bloody Chicago-style politics.
He will soon have his chance to show what he can do!
It would be treason if he were an American, no?
Surely we have better political tools to use than the truth. That’s so yesterday. What we need is a big lie. ;-)
I am still waiting for Obama to give back Bill Maher’s money for calling Sarah Palin a C**T!
Talk about hateful speech!!!!
Tell Axelrod to stop the crocodile tears!
What a bunch of hypocrites!
By the way, where are the jobs?
