The Washington post ^ | May 3, 2012 | Ben Pershing and Jon Cohen

Obama is ahead of Romney, the presumed Republican nominee, 51 percent to 44 percent among registered voters. And Romney does no better against Obama than he did a year ago, despite his emergence as the GOP standard-bearer.

I live in a big blue state and I don’t know one person who doesn’t hate Bambi.

Almost everyone I know (in VA and relatives elsewhere) loathe the messiah too, but I don't hang out with liberals.I fervently hope Romney will win. I know he's too liberal but, unlike many Freepers, I believe he will be much better than the current disaster in the White House. It's imperative that Osama Obama be removed.

What you don't know is that Moran is in one of the most gerrymandered districts on the face of the Earth and I had something to do with that.

He's got nothing but Democrats, Commies and Nazis over there ~ and I say over there because we used to be trapped in his district.

We aren't now and never will be.

BY gerrymandering Moran the Democrats get what they want ~ a crazy old wifebeating drunk ~ and we get what we want TWO REPUBLICANS ELECTED instead of just one.

The fact you would even complain about that proves you are an Obama agent sent to harrass FR!

Mitt Romney is the best political happening to the promotion of Virgil Goode.

Off the topic a bit, but 19%. With the state split 50/50 that .19 equates to .38 inside Democrat politics. With appropriate gerrymandering we end up with some black dominated Congressional districts where the black voters are certainly at 50% of the total Democrat presence, and probably more like 60%.

That puts effective management of the Democrat party in Virginia in the hands of black politicians. Almost all the Socialist scum are condensed in Moran's district of course.

If you wanted to feel politically disenfranchised in the state you'd be a white Republican voter in a black Congressional district, or maybe even a mind-numbed robot-like knee-jerk Leftwingtard white voter in a black Congressional district.

Recall our crazy Senator, good old what's his name (Webb) ~ used to be a Republican ~ he's getting out of politics here since about half the people he has to deal with in the Virginia Democrat party are black.

Our other Democrat Senator, Warner, imagines himself to be some sort of Romneyesque political force who can move among the masses and spread joy.

He's not going anywhere either, and eventually those guys will demand a black Senator and he'll be out of there just like that.

The choice must be hard for Virginia voters: socialism or socialism-lite? Pro-abortion or pro-abortion? The homo lover or homo lover?

Look at the primary maps. Even more poorly than McCain did, Mittens only does decent in districts that are heavily Demorat and won't be going for him in November. In throwing conservative values under the bus, he threw out his own chances of winning. He forgot about those people who actually vote on principles while he's been pandering to leftists.

He can't even take back a state that's been voting Republican for ages. This is embarrassing.

Of course, I'm not being humorous. We really need to purge the top end of the Republican party in Virginia and there are some TEAParty people who best start answering questions.

You can't let the party run a series of debates week after week like that and then restrict us to choosing between the village idiot and a criminal.

Just gives everybody a bad taste about it.

I think we need to purge first ~ make sure we don't send any Romney people to the National Convention!~

Did you hear; Virginia has a third Senator. Yep that’s right. Øbama’s favorite Republican - Dick Lugar. Hasn’t lived in Indiana in probably 30 years.

We all know that which is why we need a Conservative to run against Obama.

Romney ain't it. Man doesn't even know any real Republicans.

We need the fire of the Tea Party again, if we fall down on the effort it will be a total disaster. Here in NC the rat party is so screwed up with scandal we should go Republican, and BTW I don't believe the poll in Va. Romney has been selected for us as McCain so I'll be voting for the vice, I presume will be a much better choice then Romney. We have to hold on to the House despite Bohner, and take the Senate.

Teddy Kennedy didn't live in Massachusetts. John Stennis didn't live in MIssissippi. Probably every smart senator has a second home in Virginia, even the pukes in Maryland and Delaware.

It's not news where Lugar sleeps.

I could set up one of those tour deals with a Monster Bus and drive around Northern Virginia showing the goobers from flyover country where their Senators and Representatives have actually lived since they got elected.

No doubt we'd have a SS escort trailing along, but that'd be part of the tour's ambiance.

Why do you guys wake up some day and say "Hey, self, where's my Senator? He ain't next door so where is he?"

Obama beat McCain and Palin in Virginia.

IN DETAIL:

Zero 52.63%

McLame 46.33%

Other 1.04%

You see that "Other"? Those were Republicans who refused to vote for McCain under any circumstances. He had that problem elsewhere in the country. Didn't make all that much difference but Romney's percent now in that WarshPost pole is the same as McCain's in the last presidential election.

Hmmmm ~ we need a different outcome and Romney isnt providing it

Zero stole NC, he won’t be as lucky this time, Charlotte is going to be like Chicago should be entertaining. But what are we going to do is the big question, no option as I can see, very disappointed.

You can vote for Goode, or you vote for evil.

A vote for Goode is a vote for evil.

FUVG! If this fool throws Virgina (and most likely the election) to Obama, he and his foolish supporters will be deserving of every ounce of scorn they reap.

Virgil Goode, this little man, is poised to do to the Republicans in Virginia what Ralph Nader did to the Democrats in Florida twelve years ago.

I have no patience to indulge this crap. Virgil Goode and his supporters better think long and hard about what a second Obama term will look like and they'd better understand that if Obama wins the White House, he's most likely bringing a Democrat House and Senate on his coattails.

Baloney. The only one to blame for potentially losing Virginia (or any other competitive state) is the GOP establishment for nominating a lying, Socialist fraud like Slick Willard. Virgil Goode gives Conservatives a choice. Until such time as the GOP returns to sanity and kicks out Trojan Horse Democrats like Willard, I support Goode over 2 evils.

Virgil Goode gives Conservatives a choice.

Again, baloney! He only lets them feel smug and sanctimonious. Where's the choice? Virgil Goode cannot possibly win the election. The only thing he can do is serve as Romney's spoiler.

Go ahead and vote for Goode if you want four more years of Obama. Don't try and pretend otherwise.
