The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.
Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."
"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.
The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

That sentence by Mr. Mortan would be comical if not so ignorant. Of course they know their history!
Ask yourselves if they will withdraw the slogan or at the least disavow it and its association with communism.

A look at events of the past 36 months of this country shows the communists feel empowered by the media and the masses to move forward.
Abomination and his minion's from Holder to Big Sister behave in a manner so contrary to the values of this country everyday. The Right scream and yell (blog) of each betrayal and yet . . . nothing changes.
Programs remain in place, policies formulated and executive orders move their agenda FORWARD.
Arguably it gets "slowed" down a bit. Some resign, some small victories, but come on . . . look at the big picture. They kick our ass. They know it and feel empowered to be so bold.
I hate Obama, but that’s a little much.. perhaps we could cool it a bit. While I don’t totally disagree, that’s a little rough..
If someone has a larger version of the one above, I’d love to have it!

An old, overused slogan perhaps, but it still works to motivate the Young Pioneers
