Jim may have to make this site members only or allow ads. Better for us to just help with what we can. Maybe you can donate as a memorial for a lost loved one, a servicemember who never made it home or was disabled defending our country. Perhaps you'd like to give to keep free discussion alive and to show them that we're not knuckling under. I'm sure a well thought out or prayerful meditation will lead you to see the need and how you can help. If every registered FReeper and our lurkers would each just help out with a fin or a sawbuck, or better yet a Ben Franklin, we could put this to bed and get on with the conservative cause.

This is the first I've heard of such a site, so out of curiosity I checked it out. It's pathetic. A site that exists so its members can haunt ANOTHER site, copy and paste its posts, and endlessly obsess over them? Seriously? And it's unbelievably nasty. The posts are full of hateful personal insults to Freepers, and they link to DU and have adopted certain filthy words and phrases coined by DU.

Hope those folks are proud of themselves, because they really took the high road. /s

For those who live in the swing states that will decide the election, (Florida, Ohio, New Hampshire, Penn., etc) vote straight Republican ticket. This will ensure that Obama isn’t reelected and that the Supreme Court isn’t packed with liberal nutcases for the next 40 years.

For anything that I said during the early primary days that was not 100% true about Perry... I am truly sorry.

I remember your comments; there were other people here who also made horrible comments against Gov. Perry. Now we get Gov. Romney instead of Gov. Perry as the Republican nominee, because conservatives did not unite around Gov. Perry when they had the chance.

I will vote for the Republican nominee against Barack Obama. Obama is horrible and nothing anyone writes here justifies allowing him to be reelected.

I would appreciate some help with how to respond, though to the following.

I also don't know anyone who thinks that OThuga and Marxist Mitt are identically 100% equal in their destructiveness toward:

D) The Constitution

I don't know how even I'd rate the two traitors on the above . . . whether I'd rate OThuga 100% and Marxist Mitt 95% destructive or OThuga 100% and Marxist Mitt 85% or what. But I would rate OThuga very detectably worse than Mitt.

And I know a lot of people--sometimes including the one in my mirror on some days--who cannot rationalize doing anything to contribute to OThuga--A WORSE DESTROYER on all the things we hold dear--getting into office another 4 years.

The Supreme Court issue is a serious concern to many of my loved ones on such scores.

Personally, I still do not think it makes a significant bit of difference how we vote. I believe the puppet masters control enough of the voting machines and other corrupt vote rigging practices that they will install whomever they have selected for the next 4 years.

Nevertheless, I believe that we are duty bound before God to exercise our right to vote as prayerfully and logically and patriotically in behalf of our cherished values as well as we can. This issue is just very troubling--sometimes to me and certainly to several I love. How can we rationally justify doing ANYTHING that results in the WORST of the two satanic evil Marxist weasels another 4 years?

You had some good points that were poorly addressed, not so much by Jim Rob as by some of the others here.

I have grown accustomed to that. Lotta knee jerking and attempts at lockstep going on around here. We used to at least recognize independent thought. We used to challenge each other based of fact and logic. We used to demand precision in expression.

The sad fact is that any deviation from the Boss's opinion now is perceived as thoughtcrime / liberalism by some (overactive ones) and gets the usual suspects in the usual dogpiling tizzy.

I hope the ship can be righted.
