That would be the real Amish - not the ones not identified in news articles.

Heartened that people like you still exist. I’m pretty wound up over this and have not a lick of farmer in my family tree.

Hell, we're suburban and most are geriatric. Between all of us we've barely got an acre under cultivation.
Folks are p!$$ed at the over-reach. And reacting.
And the barstids back off, so they can figure out how to get it done again.
It's like having a naughty puppy that you just have to keep smacking with a rolled-up newspaper until it finally gets the lesson.
We are getting there on the 2nd amendment. We just need to keep on pushing.

Like a nuclear warhead makes for a good illumination round. Well they do. Higher the better, you can illuminate half a state, or even more. Side effects can be rather inconvenient though.

Fountainhead is also appropriate in this case.

With Obama the “compromise” could be something with the exact same effect

"The Department of Labor backed off the rule in February. The department now said it will not pursue the regulation again during Pres. Barack Obamas administration. Code for they will ram it down farmers throats if obama is re-elected. Its just a temporary backoff until they can slip it unnoticed into some other legislation."
Apparently Congress has already delegated authority to the Dept. of Labor to do whatever the hell it wants & that no new legislation would be needed.

Just a temporary setback for Obama.
He can't go into full blown Pol Pot mode *until* he's reelected and has more "flexibility". That's when he'll start relocating all evil conservatives to do farm labor and giving our houses to people who 'deserve them'. That's the Communist way.
However first he's got to get all those pesky guns from our hands. But he's "working under the radar" on that. Right Barry.

MN and other left of center states need to remember that it’s an election year. After the election Obama will have more “flexibility”. How stupid can they get?
