As for me, Im keeping busy in Chicago. Im currently working at Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland here in Chicago, a small firm specializing in employment discrimination and voting rights/civil rights cases. Im also teaching a seminar on race and the law at the University of Chicago law school -- your casebook has been an invaluable reference guide for that.
The main reason Im writing to you, though, has to do with a book that Ive been writing, on again, off again, for the past two years. Originally, the book (called Dreams of My Father) was going to be a series of essays on issues of race and class, but as it has evolved its become a memoir of my family and my experiences as an organizer in Chicago...
Your name came to mind as somebody whose insight Ive always appreciated, so Ive enclosed an advanced readers edition of the book. If you have time to read it and think its worth of a plug, Id be thrilled...
Looks like all these past radical associations that Obummer and the Regime have worked very hard to scrub are starting to make their way into the daylight again. Great investigative work by the Breitbart people again. At least there are a few real journalists left.
Dreams from My Father is a beautifully written chronicle of a gifted young man marked and molded by a family whose love for him was as deep as its diversity was daunting. We hear in Barack Obamas soaring book that survival demands resilience in the face of frustrated expectations, and that ones committed opposition to the destructive tides of Americas obsession with color cultivates a vision of life that is nourished by struggle.
- Derrick Bell, author of Faces at the Bottom of the Well
The regime knows this guy is bad news as evidenced by their eliminating this from the reprint of the book. It also disproves the lie that Obummers radicalism was just a passing fad in college. He was active in this philosophy well after it.

Drip, drip, drip. Will anyone care come November?

How presumptuous to write an autobiography at age 35, more so when you have accomplished diddly squat.
I find it amusing that I forget about our obsession with color until someone mentions our obsession with color.
Barry is no different than Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. He's all about race and class warfare. He his the most dangerous person ever to sit in the White House.
The left has pretty much ruined the word “struggle”.
Keep up the great work Breitbart Staff.
Vet this guy as no one did in 2008.
I want to know who the gray poneytails are.
