You were better at “jackass”.
That’s devolving discussion DOWN, which is fitting.
I never counted on a brokered convention. I never predicted one. I said the truth that Newt was still in, trying to effectuate one if he could.
If he can’t, he can’t.
Speaking of can’t...Santorum can’t.
Doesn’t merit calling either one a jackass.
But if that’s your preferred image...so be it.
Nice try.
This HAS NOT been the story line for anyone asking why Newt wouldn't drop out and throw his support behind Santorum. Don't act like you didn't know that either.
I and many others urged Newt's supporters to get him to drop out and throw his support behind Santorum. Oh he couldn't do that. He was going to win the nomination at a brokered convention. We were supposed to be the fools for even suggesting such a thing.
Okay, he couldn't drop out and throw his support behind Santorum. Now it looks like he can drop out and throw his support behind Romney.
And what did we predict was going to happen prior to Louisiana if he didn't drop out and support Santorum?
We predicted exactly this. And now seemingly being proven right, here you are to lecture us again.
The answer to my queation is this. The brokered convention idea was a sham from the get go, for anyone with any political savvy whatsoever. It was just a ruse to justify staying in until all the people opposing Romney were out.
Let me know when you folks finally get that light-bulb screwed in.
