And then what happens at the deadlocked convention? The GOP-e nominates another unacceptable RINO like Christie or Jeb?

It doesn't matter. The RINO establishment cannot keep shoving these losers down our throats. I'm not taking it anymore and I'm not voting Romney in November.

That's fine. I find obama totally unacceptable. He has already damaged our military beyond repair, indicated that he will circumvent congress, made recess appointments while congress was in session, allowed gays to raise the rainbow flag in a war zone - and on and on it goes. Is Romney this dangerous? No way. You all can have your little self-righteous temper tantrums - I choose to vote AGAINST obama and if that means voting for Romney, so be it.

Newt told them IF Romney was the nominee, he would support him 100%. That IF is left out of press reports. I wonder why. /sarc

I'm done being a good soldier. If you don't see evil in the RINO establishment, then go ahead and march on for them. They can't count on me anymore. I'm done.

So you are willing to get behind the NOT Obama later but against voting for the NOT Romney now to have a possible open convention?

Do you honestly believe the remaining “Not Romney” candidates have a shot? Newt is going to turn on you all and support Romney in the end. Why bother with the charade? Throw Rick Perry back in the mix and I’d vote for him in a heartbeat.

Vote for the Republican nominee

There is no nominee.

There isn't even anyone with a claim on 1100 delegates.

A lot can happen in a few months...

A macaca moment,

a stroke

a nut bar with a gun

a family crisis that takes precedence

In any event, we have to do what little we can to force Romney to suppress his inner liberal self.

We had to keep George the Younger from pushing Harriet Miers ... we have to keep Mittster from thinking he can push the next Blackmun (as Nixon did).

Make sure Pennsylvania read THIS thread. You have to vote for the right delegates by name, because the presidential pick is just a beauty contest/straw poll and the delegates are not bound.

You can find out what Congressional District you’re in here, just make sure to use the full address, zip code alone won’t always work:

Welch was in 3rd place in a poll last week. Granted the poll was sponsored by Smith’s campaign. The fact that Welch is so far behind, if true, should make it “safe” for people to vote Rohrer and not worry about vote-splitting.

What about Tom Smith? I'm leaning his way because I thought the TEA Party endorsed him.

The "Independence Hall Tea Party" endorsed Smith but they also endorsed Romney, and are endorsing his delegates. They can take their tea and flush it as far as I'm concerned.

All done. Voted for Gingrich, Rohrer, and Newt delegates.

The only campaigners at the polling place were some nice folks advocating for Christian.

I wish I could have voted for him, but I went for the long shot, not the impossible one.

He’ll be handing it over to Mitt. So you aren’t showing mitt/GOP anything just that you can be deceived which they already knew.

IF this is true,

Deception has you wrapped up tight. That is a MITT hit piece for the clueless like you to spread around his deception. You are doing mitt's dirty work - like a cheap chump!

then there are a hell of a lot of conservative GOP out there that are willing to vote for him.

They have fallen for deception - evil always does and how mitt's political analyst KNEW they would - just tell them he's the best candidate and then buy support. How easily they can be deceived with his very liberal record! When Newt is in the race, also, whose is the exact opposite of Romney and Barry in EVERY WAY with a record to prove it. You can't get more 'desiring evil' than that - the result of living in fear and not "Fear Not". The 'conservative' thing means nothing - it is what is inside them that comes out when 'they feel' they have no option. Not a patriotic mindset, so not American, IMO. America would be long gone if our forefathers/patriots lived in fear. The patriotic spirit is alive but it is not for 'many'. Get ready for the complete downfall of America brought on by fear - a feeling!

“They have fallen for deception - evil always does and how mitt’s political analyst KNEW they would - just tell them he’s the best candidate and then buy support.”

It works much the same here in Texas. Even the average Republican Primary voter is not very well informed. Any middle of the ground candidate, with substantial resources for advertising, can win the Republican Primary. It is sad for me to say this, but if the Texas Primary were held today, I think Romney would win. Most voters go with name recognition and association with a perceived front-runner.

My view is that "it don't matter".

This ship of state is too close to the rocks to avoid them.

We are going to crash, simply because we are "big enough to fail". The fed is already printing 40 cents of every dollar the Gov. spends, that is because no foreigners have the money to buy all of our debt. In fact foreigners own so much of our debt already that they couldn't sell it if they wanted to. Imagine if China put $1 Trillion US bonds out for the bid... the market would collapse.

The unfunded liabilities for Social Security, Medicare and Goverment Pension accounts are so large that the number is basically meaningless.

The US will default and when the credit limit has maxed out and people don't get their "entitlements" and/or "safety net" benefits there will be fire/blood in the streets...

A liberal will try to keep the scam rolling... a foolhearty conservative who trys to make draconian cuts in spending that would be necessary to make a difference will face revolt.

I am a retired wall streeter...I sold some TBonds to customers that paid 14% in the early '80s... it can happen...the US is now paying 1.5% on its total debt...$240 Billion in interest...no principal...the average maturity of US debt is less than 4 years...the US must refinance $16 Trillion in the next 4 years, plus the new deficits... can't be done...so good luck picking the captain to go down with the ship.

The sad thing is that Pennsylvania is about to nominate a liberal Democrat running as a Republican for Senate, and he has been endorsed by the state GOP party machine. About the best thing you can say about him is that he’s smarter than Casey, but that’s not saying a whole lot.

Steve Welch is a Democrat who voted for Obama and supported the reptilian Joe Sestak, and yet he wants people to think he’s a conservative.

Further proof that the GOP is scum and must be destroyed.

I’m voting in PA today. Torn between Newt and Paul. I think my conscience is saying vote Paul. I thought Newt really had something going, but he shot himself in the foot too many times. I’ll stick with the constitutionalist even if I can almost see his antennae.
