3 Points Steve:
1. Romney is not mentioned once in the article.
2. False advertising since there is not a word about the $700 million in taxes and fees that Romney raised while Governor of MA.
3. It is standard practice for bloggers to post their whole article, not just a false-advertising teaser here at FreeRepublic.
Oh Paging our resident Blog Posting Policeman!
What is it that seems to have caused you to excerpt your
own material.. other than a grubby desire for hits at the
expense of Free Republic? How about posting the balance
of the “article” right here for everyone to see?
Hey, lookie here:
http://www.freerepublic.com/tag/by:agee/index?tab=articles
You don’t seem able to post anything but your own stuff.
In excerpted form. Why might that be? Do you want a few
blog hits maybe? Could that be it?
Hey, if hits are your goal, as we have established, then what
would prevent you from PRETENDING to conservative values and
excerpting that crap HERE in order to SUCK AWAY TRAFFIC from
Free Republic? Is that your business model? Speak up.
Most of the time articles have already been posted on free republic by the time I read them (this is what happens when one has a day job and works 10+ hours a day). I share my blog posts because I think people will be interested in them. Nothing more.
When safenvironment has a toon without commentary I post them as is (which uses MY bandwidth on MY dime).
Re: Conservative values? I’ve got years of posts up. Go read, don’t tell me about pretending to be anything. (Didn’t expect the liberal tactic of accuse when the proof is in front of your eyes here) If your so observant, why didn’t you check that out? While you’re at it notice NO advertisements on my site? Nada, Zip.
Business model? None, I’m not getting paid, I’m paying. My goal, to change who our President is. Period end of sentence.
If my posts give folks a few ideas that they can use when talking to their friends and neighbors, then it helps make my goal a reality.
The point of the title is that the “Romney release your tax records” are disingenuous. The call to release Romney’s taxes isn’t relevant to the article just like it isn’t relevant to the real reason for the reporting on it. (yeah, I was being too clever by half)
The Obama camp will happily not do something that it pounds others for not doing. The backlash against the MSM for this one sided approach has caused even the vaunted NYT to admit that they are biased and have been nothing more than a lapdog for the administration.
Sorry for not posting more - I goofed on that one I usually try to post up to the limit.
Respectfully
Aaron
PS - My name isn’t Steve
Rest of the article as requested:
According to a study by the media scholars Stephen J. Farnsworth and S. Robert Lichter, The Timess coverage of the presidents first year in office was significantly more favorable than its first-year coverage of three predecessors who also brought a new party to power in the White House: George W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan.
Color us unimpressed. The Obama campaign still routinely thinks that it plays by different rules than everyone else. Especially when it comes to issues of disclosure, asking others to do that which it would not. From blocking the release of White House visitors list to delaying Freedom Of Information Act requests from conservative groups, the Obama camp makes a mockery of the most open and ethical administration in history promise. Thats without getting into Solyndra, hookers for the Secret Service, Fast and Furious, and lots of Crony Capitalism.
Perhaps the only way to get some answers would be to hack his teleprompter. Thats a better plan then relying on outfits like the New York Times to report fairly on the President.
Because I don't provide hits to blogpimps.
Ive got years of posts up.
Not here you don't.
If my posts give folks a few ideas that they can use when talking to their friends and neighbors, then it helps make my goal a reality.
So far I get the idea that you are a blogpimp.
Disabuse me of that notion by not being a blogpimp.
What SoConPubbie wrote.
>Because I don’t provide hits to blogpimps.
Google is your friend and you don’t have to give me a single hit ever.
>Not here you don’t.
Not yet. I found freerepublic because articles I was writing elsewhere (ie American Thinker, responses to other blogs) were showing up here. After getting forwarded my work which showed up without attribution or “incorrect” attribution, I joined. Now I generally post what I do when I do it to short circuit that game.
You don’t have to believe me - google is your friend. Go check it for yourself.
