We had a really nice weekend. Ate some ribs from a place called Big G Smokehouse in Duncan. Awesome supper.

Also, spent some time with Bo at the lake. We played some fetch and walked around.

Couldn't ask for better weather.

Staff Sgt. Nathan Stocking from Lima Company, 3rd Battalion 5th Marines, checks on his junior Marines as they take up shooting positions on the rooftop of a mud home for the night. The Marines were setting in on a position to monitor insurgent movements through the night.

Big change in the weather, huh? It’s like, do I put my sweaters away or keep them out? I’ve been alternating between pjs - long sleeve with pants or shorts with tank top. I had to turn the heat back on this morning. The only good thing is that we got much needed rain.

Yup, the long days help give us a little extra time to get things done. However, my granddaughter Kylie (a.k.a the Queen or Drama Queen) has been keeping me busy in the afternoons. Don’t get much done. She just turned 7.
