Planning has begun for the 7th Annual TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot.
This year’s shoot will be held at Schwenke’s Rifle & Pistol Range, 4407 FM 1069, Aransas Pass, TX. Which is a few miles north of Corpus Christi.
The date of the shoot is October 6th, which is Columbus Day weekend.
I have not talked to the range owner yet to see if we can cook on the range. If not, we will head over here for food & more fun. What food & who cooks has yet to be determined. I’m thinking, since we will be on the coast, we should have seafood.
Several of us will be staying in the cottages at that resort. The cottages sleep 2 ~ 4 people; they are a one bedroom with a fold out queen couch. I am going to reserve four cottages so that we will have a common area where we can eat & socialize. Let me know if you want to stay in one of them.
It should be noted that a festival will be held the same weekend as the shoot.

They were really good.
One of the only things that I have regret about living here is they don’t make a Italian sausage sangwich here LoL

Aren’t you nice! It’s going to be so much fun! I already have my plane ticket! Woooohooooo! Flying to Dallas and driving down to Corpus with nytexan and mylife. :)
Hubby and I are driving the whole way. Mylife and NYTexan are two more people I am really looking forward to meeting.
BuckeyeTexan and I will have some things to talk about as well. I’m kind of an old, beat-up version of her, and we’ll probably get along fine.
We can caravan to South Texas from here on Thursday.

It may not be possible for him to get away another day earlier, but I’m sure that he will try mightily to do so.
Hubby! We haven’t had a vacation since Niagara Falls. Just sayin’.

I’m really looking forward to it! It will be nice to be able to associate personalities with the names on FR and the lovely faces in the photos from the last Shoot.
All Hubby needs is an address and the time we should be there, assuming he can get off that extra day or two.
