A couple of things are certain:
DeeDee and Trayvon did not talk for 400 minutes on 2/26 the day he was shot.
DeeDee did not go to the hospital on 3/2 and 3/3 and that was NOT the reason for not attending the viewing or memorial.
DeeDee and Trayvon were not Boyfriend/Girlfriend. They were close, platonic best friends.
DeeDee was not devastated, destroyed, or an emotional wreck. She was sad that her best friend was shot. She notified others, including her cousin who is also a prolific tweeter, but did not know immediately who Trayvon was.
DeeDee did not miss school.
DeeDee did not contact anyone because there was no reason to.
Did DeeDee actually hear anything that night? Who knows. However, the mere fact that Benjamin Crump can be proven to have falsely constructed more than 80% of his press conference in order to plant false misleading misinformation in the media sure brings the entire narrative into question.
-snip-
The reason the prosecutor Angela Corey didnt go to the Grand Jury was because she would have either had to introduce DeeDees testimony, or avoid it completely. If she included the lies and the manipulations DeeDee would have been forced to bear witness at trial and OMara would be able to pull the lies out. That is why no Grand Jury was used. They wanted the media evidence of DeeDee to exist, but not the legal evidence,

Thanks - Not one I am familiar with (only handgun I have ever had was an issue Browning 9 mm), but yeah, sounds like a combination of residue blowback from a target closer than 3 feet away and the partially open slide.
The L96 or AS50 are more my tools of choice, though they are significantly more difficult to carry in your waistband!
I’m sure you’re being sarcastic.
If the prosecutors had a duty to disclose all the evidence - even that which refutes their claim - then they are so negligent that it is criminal.
The March 22 one indicates she’s not DeeDee - where she says she can’t imagine what Tray’s girlfriend must be going through, because SHE’D be nuts if she lost her BF.
I don’t know how the other blog arrived at the person they have for Deedee, but if that really is Deedee then what you’ve got here underlines how odd it is that she was so aloof compared to this other friend (who is not Trayvon’s GF) - especially if she was his GF and was speaking to him when the confrontation began.
I just showed the picture to my kids who said at first “three” and then said, “There are two white guys in that picture.”
Here’s the letter from the Sanford City Manager, dated 3/23/12.
When we got to the cries for help, that was when Sybrina burst into tears, recalled Natalie Jackson. She said, Thats Trayvon. Thats our son. She ran out of the room crying. The mayor himself started to cry, Jackson said. Everybody in the room was in tears.
These people, Sharpton, Jackson, Crump, etc, ALL of them, have become what the men in the white hoods were. No more need be said of them.
I'm not going to dismiss the possibility that @_LoveThyLondon is not DeeDee on that basis. There has been plenty of speculation that DeeDee was a close friend, but not "girlfriend" the way Crump states the relationship between DeeDee and Trayvon.
>if you shoot someone/something from close enough you can often get residue back scattering.
I can vouch for that. Shooting two .44 rounds through a tempered glass storm door from a few inches away left me with
the taste of H110 in my mouth for the whole week I was in jail.
This whole case is further diminishing my limited faith in the American system of justice. Whatever the outcome for Zimmerman, the net result of the case will be a lot more cynicism on the part of the public to how the judicial system operates. Truth and falsehood, guilt or innocence, don't matter. It's all about advancing your career as a lawyer or a prosecutor.
“Somebody needs to go to jail and it isnt Zimmerman.”
The operative instructions are:
What Is Democracy
An African American’s son asks his dad, “Dad, what’s Democracy?”
“Well, son, that’s when whites work and we get all the benefits from it!”
“But dad, aren’t the white people pissed off about it?”
“Sure they are, but that’s called ‘racism’”
If that is accurate, then the police did have Trayvon’s phone but were unable to unlock it to see what was on the phone. They put in a subpoena for the phone records. If that part of the article (confusing with all those updates) was from the March 20 update, then they were still waiting for the phone records 18 days after the 911 call was made from Trayvon’s phone on March 2. Somebody had suggested that the police had called 911 so they could then track what the phone number for the cellphone was. Which is probably what happened, since they’d need the phone number to be able to subpoena the records.
Good point. That makes sense. I wonder why he wanted to find out the pass code. I wonder if the police had asked him for it? If he was able to get the record of who the calls were to and from there wouldn’t be much use for having the pass code, would there?
Some one watches to many CSI episodes. I can construct a dozen ways that the angle would be up and the victim could be flat of his back. The best you can say about it is it could be such and such. If they then have someone do a computer animation then that will become fact to the jury.
That makes sense for the 911 call on 3/02, but see also post #126 for additional calls on TM’s records.
You can pause the abc video for a better view.
But with all the media talk about DeeDee being Trayvon’s girlfriend, this other girl’s reference to “Trayvon’s girlfriend” must be a reference to “DeeDee” - the person who was supposedly on the phone with Trayvon when the confrontation began. So this girl is saying she’s not that person.
Unless this girl knows who “DeeDee” is and that she was not Trayvon’s girlfriend and was sympathizing with somebody who really was TM’s girlfriend.
Did TM tweet about somebody he called his GF?
I’m with you on the thug culture, when I think of black culture I want to remember Nipsy Russell, Flip Wilson, Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, Louis Armstrong, Sammy Davis Jr., Clyde McPhatter, Jackie Wilson, The Ink Spots, barbecued ribs, fried catfish, the sound of gospel music on a moonlit night rolling over the hills from the little church a mile from our house when I was a boy and a host of other wonderful things, I don’t want it to mean violence. I worked in the hot sun with black people when I was growing up back in the fifties, we didn’t hate each other! We may not have had a perfect relationship but we didn’t hate each other. We didn’t fear black people and they didn’t fear us. We often helped each other but we did NOT fear each other. My father was the sort that Eric Holder would call a racist but I never knew him to do anything unkind to a black person, in fact I think that in reality he would help a black person at least as quickly as he would help a white person. Yes, he felt that as a white man he was superior but never, not once did he ever do anything unkind to anyone because of race, at least not that I ever learned of. I often heard him defend black people to my brothers and me and he sometimes talked of how the farmers of his youth (born in 1913) took advantage of black people.
This case totally blows away any credibility of the media and of the judicial system.
Interesting how the corruption of the media and judiciary in this politicized criminal case very much matches the corruption out of both of those in the politicized case of various crimes committed to cover Obama’s ineligibility. Those who want us to write off the eligibility issue because the media, government, and judicial system can be trusted.... now have to explain the garbage from the Trayvon shooting, the Fast & Furious death of Brian Terry, etc. Some of us have been saying for a while that the government, media, law enforcement, and judiciary are all lawless. At this rate, anybody with their eyes open should be realizing how very true that is.
Sad. Very, very sad.
Is there a link to the video of that?
Were there other calls from that phone after Trayvon was dead?
