SPRING, Texas Authorities say a 30-year-old woman admitted she shot a young mother and abducted her newborn son in a town near Houston.
Verna McClain, a registered nurse, is charged with capital murder in the killing of Kala Marie Golden in Spring, Texas, which is north of Houston, Tuesday. Witnesses saw the shooter repeatedly shoot Golden and drive away with her 3-day-old son, Keegan. Authorities found Keegan late Tuesday night.

What a sad story; just breaks my heart.
My prayers for the infant, her deceased mom and their family.
I presume the baby is now in good hands with the grandma or the father.
To: ColdOne
They did not say the shooter was white, therefore, ...
To: AtlasStalled
They won’t hand the baby over to the father because the birth certificate had not even been signed yet.

Linda Golden talks to members of the media outside the Conroe Police Department in Conore, Texas, early Wednesday, April 18, 2012 about the death of her daughter, Kala Marie GoldenIt appears that Kala Marie Golden might have looked something like Barack Obama's Mother, right?

It appears that Kala Marie Golden might have looked something like Barack Obama's Mother, right? Yeah, and Verna McClain looks like she could be one of Obama's daughters. Or his wife.

They did not say the shooter was white, therefore, ...I read on the internet the day this happened that the scumbag piece of garbage who did this was of Negro-persuasion. Can't wait for our Dimbulb Illegal Alien in Charge to claim that this little girl would look like his baby.

A charming picture. Let's see, the chip-on-the-shoulder crowd can say that the baby's mother was threatening her while all she wanted to do was say goodbye to the baby and the mother. If the mother of the baby hadn't tried to retaliate against this poor woman of Negro-persuasion, this never would have happened.
Can't you see how sad Verna McClain looks in that photo. Is there no justice? It's quite obvious that this poor woman of "color" was just defending herself.

This is a nurse?! I wouldn’t want her coming near me....she looks crazed.
To: ColdOne
Since she’s a nurse, she’ll likely be quite familiar with inserting needles. Perhaps she’ll be able to aid her executioners in doing the job more efficiently.

Until at least sometime today CPS still had the baby. When reporters asked one of the CPS investigators about it she said they had to complete a background investigation on the father and other family members before they could release the baby to anyone. Someone said something about the father had never signed the birth certificate or some such ridiculous statement. One of the best things we could do with CPS in Texas is kick their butts out!

Well, that picture explains why she had to steal a Baby rather than give Birth to one.
It still takes two to tango and the “dance” partner would have to be Blind to make it happen...
